Very few issues.
This is so good I took it to my Doctor, and he immediately bought one to document small lesions. It works really well. It is easy to use. It is small and light weight. Now the negatives, it needs a reticle (basically a transparent ruler), to allow determining the size of objects. It needs a way to isolate the device from contamination.A simple slip-on cup could do both.Less easy to fix: The batteries are small and light, so battery life will be short. The field of view is small, in my phone this yields a circular aperture which is a small part of the image size. Bigger would be better. In total, for the small size, light weight, and low price, it is great, but there is room for improvement.

Barely usable
The magnifier housing must be essentially resting on the object you’re viewing for the camera to focus, so it can’t be used while working on the magnified object. As noted in other reviews the field of view is very narrow due to much of the view being given to the interior of the device. It might be usable for examination of static objects, but it will probably be, at best, only marginally better than the built-in digital zoom of your phone/tablet/etc. Can’t recommend it.

Simple And Effective
After overcoming some camera issues I can say that this little lens is pretty helpful. It's simple operation and design make it easy to use. I've used it to identify some insects and insect damage to my plants. Works for that.Few tips for Samsung phone users. Any decent phone is gonna have several different lenses. In standard mode the software will change lenses depending on zoom levels and such. This is super annoying as you start looking at something and then it changes the lense. On the main camera screen you can switch between Portrait, Photo, Video, and More. Choose More and then choose Pro. This will allow you to specify which lense you want to use. Play with the lenses until you find one that suits your purpose. Using pro you still get zoom and auto focus.Overall good product for the price.

Fun and easy
This was something we bought just to be able to look at splinters in hands and things around the house. It just slides easily over the camera of our phone and zooms in almost disgustingly close to items!

It works but…….
First, if you have a iPhone you will have to use the 2x camera on your iPhone and zoom in to even see a difference. Second, even after adjustments, it’s almost impossible to get a good shot. Especially if you using for a plant (cannabis). I found it better to use with your iPhone video recorder but there’s a trick to it. You have to get it to focus first! So I use the microscope on my finger (press finger tip on microscope lens and tap phone to focus onto your finger). Once you got the microscope focused, press record and remove finger. It’s going to look blurry until you get close to plant and still kinda hard to get a good video but at least you’re able to go back to your video and screenshot the best focus shot. A lot of work! TRUST ME I KNOW lol but for use plant growers looking to see when to harvest it’s literally the only way. If the plant has already been harvested YES it will work because the sample will be placed on a sturdy surface. So that’s my reasoning for a 3 star it works but just don’t work when plant is actually moving in the wind or any movement at all.

one of several rebrands of the same excellent scope
I'm amazed at how the phone's own zoom feature works so well with the clip on lens. It couldn't be easier to use, and the built in light is perfect for the task.

Does not magnify
I've included two photos. The first is the basic macro mode of my iPhone 13 Pro. This basically uses the wide-angle lens to focus close to an object. The second photo is from the microscope. Since the camera lens is larger than the microscope hole it you can see the inside of the scope including (I believe) the LED. You can also see that the text isn't any larger than in the picture taken without the microscope. This means that it isn't magnifying at all.
