CEE for a NEWBIE with Stomach issues....
This is not my first attempt with Creatine from Nutricost. The first was the Nutricost Creatine Micronized however due to digestion issues I couldn't make it past the first week with that stuff, it sat like a rock and was just awful. When I started GVT training, the trainer said to use Creatine along with my Protein. After explaining I couldn't handle it, CEE was suggested. I was skeptical due to the reviews on CEE from almost every body building site, as I am a "NEWBIE" at working out I didn't want to purchase something that I would waste, or worse yet not work.I am writing this review on week 2, and so far I have had NO issues with digestions like I did with the Micro. I have tired to mix the CEE in everything from water to juice, though I feel the taste is still gross ( like metal from a battery). I mix it with the required water, hold my nose and down it like a Champ (than chase it with something else 1 or 2 sips). For people with stomach/intestine issues Crones, IBS etc... like me this might be the stuff for you. As for the size it's only week two, so I do feel stronger but that could also be a placebo effect. The pros:No loading timeDoesn't kill your stomach/intestinesCheaper than other brandsGreat customer service when I had questions about the product.Cons:Taste like metal from a batteryYou do loose a bit more of the Creatine than you would with the micronized, due to how it breaks down.Final:I would recommend giving this a try as the NO Load times, easy on intestine and reasonably priced make this a great alternative. The only down side is you must take this first thing in the morning on no work out days, and as I keep saying oh that taste.

Do it for the gains
My husband bought this without reading the reviews, so I did so before we got the product. I was super anxious about trying it because of all the HORRIBLE remarks about the taste. The BEST advice I read was to take it in a shot glass, only use like an ounce of water, just enough for 2-3 swallows. I'm sure its way more potent but would you rather have to take 50 sips of something so bitter or just get it over with in 2 or 3 gulps?? Have another drink on standby, something real flavorful, and it takes the taste of the CEE completely away!! Easy as that! Gaining muscle isn't easy so just suck it up and get it down!!As far as RESULTS, we have only been taking for about 2 weeks consistently, but both me and my husband can tell its working! We have some extra hulk ability to bust out those last few reps that wouldn't of happened a month ago and we recover so much faster!!CEE is the purest of creatine and the quickest absorbed into the muscle. No fillers, no additives. I trust this brand and will definitely buy it again.

Get used to taste
It tastes salty, bitter, metallic, and creamy that I don't like. I'm just kidding it's not creamy. But all the other things. I got used to it after a few days though. It's highly soluble so just put it in small volume of juice, no need to drink a full glass of it. It's easier to shoot than whiskey, and healthier. Assuming it is pretty pure. I do notice a difference in workouts, though not dramatic. This is the only creatine I've stuck with (regular creatine wouldn't dissolve and gave stomach issues so I barely used it) so I can't compare how effective against other brands.

Best CEE in an optimal value size.
Nicely packaged and a great value. Creatine, and CEE in particular, is the kind of item that tends to "go bad" (solidify) before you use up your whole "value size" package. CEE, because its job is water-transport, sometimes hardens like concrete in its container the longer you have it, or this had been my experience even with "5-star" CEE that came in a 500g package. This CEE is my new favorite for 3 reasons: 1) it is a 300g package and likely easier to finish before it gets lumpy or hard 2) it seems to be just the right level of granularity: not too coarse (not gritty) but also not too fine (when too fine, it gets lumpy in humid weather) and arrived free of any lumps. 3) and all the regular benefits of good CEE: fast-dissolving, easy absorption and not too Ethyl-Ester-y (still has a slight "photo-lab" taste, but that's the nature of CEE)(I bought through eSupplements on Amazon at a lower per-gram price than competing sellers & manufacturers offered on 500gram packages of quality CEE).

Does not taste good at all. But definitely works.
Too early to rate this product only thing I could say the price is good and this creatine doesn't taste good at all. Ask for the effect I will have to update the review later on too early to tell.* So after taking the product for a little over two months I can say this product works. I will definitely continue to purchase this product. I only gave it 4 stars because of the taste. After 2 months taste is not bad anymore but still not great.

Product works but the taste is terrible
3 stars because it works just like other creatine products, but the taste is something that most people won't be able to tolerate very well. This has nothing to do with the particular brand, it's something specific to ethyl ester. The easiest way for me to take this is a scoopful into about an ounce of water and take it like a shot. I prefer to get it over quickly and in about 30 seconds the taste goes away. But the fact is that creatine mono works just as well for me and tastes like nothing, so there's just no point in struggling with the taste of this product. I knew the reviews ahead of time, i just wanted to see for myself - the reviews are not lying, the taste is badPros - works as well as any other creatine productCons - taste is about as bad as you can possibly imagine

Terrible Taste, but can be overcome
Ok. As you may know, the stuff tastes terrible. Hopefully you expected that. I am writing this so you can still make it work. this my formula for countering the taste... Just a quarter cup of water, 1/2 packet of orange Crystal light, one scoop of creatine. The sour orange flavor makes the bitter metallic taste of the creatine more tolerable. Take it as a shot, then follow with water.
