Motorola T100TP Talkabout Radio 3 Pack

The handsets arrived in a good packing, and are easy to startup and get working. The range is pretty good for kids, around a kilometer in a building/ concrete environment. The kids love the radio handsets as it is pretty simple to learn, and it works all the time.I am using alkaline batteries (AAA size), and they last for around 10 hours of play.

Wether you use new or old battery the walkie talkie doesn't work. This problem occured just after 10 days of using the product.

Everything is good except it consumption of battery is very high.. I tried all brand battery.....

I've had Motorola walkie takes before when my kids were young. They lasted forever that's why I purchased these. I still find the great quality I found when my kids were young. Easy to use, good batter life, reasonably priced and durable. Now these are for my husband and I. I'm disabled and when he's in the front yard or back yard he can't hear me. We got these to make it easy to communicate when we're busy and too far from each other to be heard, while shopping, or even if one of us is sick in bed and need some help. Thank you

T100 TP - We drive 2 cars with this talkabout radio with Rechargeable battery. Battery can use almost whole day. voice is very clear up to 1 KM range. after 1 km range you will not able to here any sound. but it was very useful during driving. if we lose communication means other car is more than 1 km far away. we slow down and drive together safely. no matter what terrain, range about 1 KM. For kids use & Long Drive - no doubt its worth for the money.

Bought these after using borrowing my friend's unit during an early morning "spirited" group drive. Theses worked great with good range. They were very clear and bought the 3 pack for my family when we go on trail rides on our bikes. The range is shorter in the woods, as expected, but reasonable. These are much better than the walkie-talkie units of my youth. I wish these had the headphone jack. I like the small size and didn't want to get the larger model just for the headphones.

Like the range

I use these to communicate with my kids as they move around the neighborhood playing with friends. They are durable and take a fair amount of abuse. I do like that they have both the low power family channels that save battery life, and the higher powered business channels that have a greater range. Using the business channels, they have an ouside range of about a mile. I do live in a more rural area so interference that can effect range is minimal.The only drawback that I have incountered is that they are not water proof or very water resistant. Two of them have died because they were left out in the rain.
