Great!
This phone is great and easy to use. My friend now feels safe to give the phone to her 11yr old autistic kid and not worry because this phone is durable and waterproof!

Satified with purchase
First phone would not accept SD card and was returned. Amazon handled the replacement well. Second phone is all I had hoped for and more. Call quality is not quite as good as I am used to but it is acceptable. As received, the phone did reboot disturbingly often. Other reviewers have mentioned this fault. However, I have disabled the Lookout application and for the last 10 days the phone has not rebooted once. Lookout appears to have been the rebooting problem. Very pleased with phone except for the initial SD card issue, thus 4 stars.Edit 07/25/15: The reboot problem is real, repetitive and annoying. At this point I would say the phone reboots 10+ times per week with no trace left of the cause. As far as I can tell, no function of the phone has failed but it is startling to be woken from a deep sleep by the Tmobile jingle during the reboot process. I think this is just an unpublished "feature" of the phone.

The Kyocera Hydro Life was a great phone know the beginning
The Kyocera Hydro Life was a great phone know the beginning. Until it started tell me that I didn't have a sim card inserted or invalid card. Lost the aim card tray and ordered a new one. The phone works better WITHOUT the tray. I now dislike this phone. I get so angry over and over again with this phone.

It Phones but Not Much More
Within a few days the phone started restarting itself randomly -- even while on calls. Other than that the phone works pretty well. There is nothing impressive about it, however, and the best you can really hope for is mediocre performance. That being said, it does what it's supposed to do passably well and, as far as I can tell, it is indeed water resistant. All in all, the phone isn't bad but is by no means great. I'd recommend it as an affordable backup or something you swap your sim card into when you go on that canoe trip your husband has been planning.

Jenky.
I wanted a durable phone, and I thought that all android devices were pretty much the same. This thing is durable, but it's a durable piece of junk. The biggest problem is the call quality. I see a call come in, but then the screen doesn't respond when I hit the answer button. So, it goes to voicemail. I call them back, but they can barely hear me. It does work better if I connect a wired headset. The same problems occur with wifi calling or Skype. T-mobile is great, but this device is frustrating. If you just want a durable toy for a child to play android games on, this would be ok. However, if you try to use it as a phone, you will probably test its durability when you get frustrated and throw it into a wall.

some flaws
It's metro pcs. Other then that it says no Sim card is in it so I have to reset it a lot. The picture quality for the face side is bad because it's not clear and also it's always a very dark picture but the other side works just fine, unless you want a perfectly clear picture. Don't get me wrong though, the camera is fine and I love the phone.
