Spigen Full Coverage Tempered Glass Screen Protector Designed for iPhone XR (2018) - Black 064GL25233

I want to tell everyone who thinks spigen a superb brand, well it is until i buy this tempered glass. Just after one month of usage bubbles are started to develop and it developed totally and my two of my friends who bought this tempered glass also getting this use. If this issue happens only to me then i can’t blame spigen now it has happened to my friend also. DONT BUY THIS !!!

It seemed promising and it really did a great job for over 2.5 years until I lost my phone recently. It took me few days to save some money for a new one and this time I went for an iPhone XR. The XR has a bigger screen in comparison with iPhone 7 that I had and the Liquid Retina display is just amazing for the overall iPhone experience. Again this time, I chose “Spigen” because undoubtedly, there isn’t any other company that would do a better job in terms of smoothness while tapping, preventing finger prints to settle as well as toughness that an iPhone requires for protection. Also this time, there was a lightening offer going on - the ₹1,999 tempered glass was just available for ₹999! So I bought it again. I have bought Spigen’s tempered glass for both my parent’s ‘OnePlus 6T McLaren’ and ‘OnePlus 5’ phones and it sticks on their screen like a charm. Was totally satisfied with the products until recently...I eagerly waited for this product to come just like every single time before. Before its application, I switched off any air-circulating source such as fan and AC and made sure that there isn’t any dust flowing around me. With the newly seal-packed tempered glass, I sat against my study table to apply it with complete patience for precision on my iPhone screen. Right after when I applied it on the 6.1 inch screen, my heart was shattered. There were couple of noticeable bubbles that appeared inside the tempered glass after its application on the phone screen but upon watching them closely, I realised that it wasn’t any dust particle that got stuck behind the tempered glass but they were actually small bumps behind the surface that couldn’t be removed no matter how hard I would try to press them out. I tried to capture them in different angles so that people buying this product and the company selling this can see the defect easily. This disappointment triggered my OCD level as I have never had a single bubble in applying all the Spigen tempered glasses before on different phones. I am sceptical now whether a “second grade quality product” was shipped and delivered to me because it was being offered at a lower price than the MRP. Customers paying ₹999 and above really expect such products to be flawless and without any defects and this time Spigen hasn’t really stood up to my expectations at all! Therefore, I urge Amazon to take my defective tempered glass back and initiate a refund as soon as possible. :(

This is the 2nd one I’m ordering in a months time. Not because I’ve broken the screen, it just doesn’t go well with Spigen backcover. Both products are great but the pressure given by the backcover pushes the tampered glass in the edges which creates bubbles. Now I’ve removed my backcover and trying to find a suitable one which will not put too much pressure to the glass.

My first cover broke within a week after my phone fell face down on concrete. My phone was inside Spigen case so there was no damage anywhere.I ordered another one because it doesn’t look like there is anything on the screen and i can use the phone even with wet hands.The broken shield l is being used at the back along with spigen’s strongest cover. Just to use it again as it is expensive and it reminds me what a fragile phone I am holding in my hand.

Loved the installing accessory that comes with. It’s gonna be really hard to mess up installing this protector.Also, there was a bubble after my installation but that went away after a day or so. Strange. Either way, thumbs up for this product. I’ve even dropped my phone a few times but no cracks in the glass yet.

Spigen makes good products and this is no different. It was easy to apply, fits well and doesnt affect screen colour. Only negative side is that Spigen products are little on expensive side

Nicely packed and easy installation. Quality of screen guard is very good but product has adhesion problems. Even after a week, a small pressure on the edge by the mobile bumper kept on peeling the screen guard off causing dust accumulation and leading to air bubbles

Two weeks after fixing the tempered glass bubbles have started coming.Please don’t buy this product for your iPhone XR.It’s not worth the money which you pay for it.!!

Did not fit the phone as advertised (too small for standard IPhone 11).Air trapped in 3 places, couldn’t remove it.Contacts company via Amazon website & told them & requested they suggest a better product (quality & size).They did not respond!

While this screen protector is a little (1mm) smaller than the screen, it is very easy to apply with the package provided. Really happy. The slightly smaller size allows space for cases and phone protectors.

It's to small for the iphone 11 screen, leaving a 5mm gap around each edge. It looks terrible.

Easy to install and fits perfectly.
