Beyond My Control: Forbidden Fantasies in an Uncensored Age Paperback – April 1, 2009

This book is a follow up to Nancy Friday's "My Secret Garden." I found this book more revealing and erotic than the first. It was so much fun to read that I finished it in a week!! This book not only describes women and mens sexual fantasies but gives insight on what led them to that particular fantasy. I have thouroughly enjoyed reading books by this author!! I have bought all of her books and look forward to reading them!!

Good book but not really to my taste so I won't give it a bad review

This book is not what I expected. It is very gross in content and I wouldn't recommend it to any clean living individual.

I loved her earlier books and I hoped this one would be simular. The spirit is gone, I hoped for more fantasies from women, more insight. There was alot of fantasies from men, its werid I didnt care for their fantasies. What was there was good, but didnt have the shock, depth or exploration of her first three fantasy books about women. Men in love was meh. This was about the same. Not as shocking. It shame she is gone, she will be remembered.

This is definitely a book for more mature reading as it goes deeply into adult fantasy. Nancy Friday knows how to captivate her reading audience and make them come back wanting more. She does her research and it shows.I received this book in the delivery time specified and will purchase from this seller again.

Quite simply, a disappointment. Nancy's earlier anthologies of letters and feedback delved far more into the hearts and minds of the writers. Many were erotic and inspirational. Those in this book are sterile - she's lost her touch.

This openned my eyes to what the real world is like. It answered many question that I had about women and how they think.

Nancy Friday's earlier books broke ground for many of us who didn't have any idea of the richness and depth of fantasy for men and (especially) women. Though we may now live in a much more uncensored world, this treatise is not as revealing or gripping.

Rubbish. This was ms friday trading on her previous books . Save your money and buy her earlier works. Like women on top

Too less much psycho-babel it is less interesting and less well written than the other books. I won't be keeping this book

I FOUND IT NOT AS GOOD AS SOME OF HER PREVIOUS BOOKS, STILL READABLE BUT A BIT DISAPPOINTING IN COMPARISON
