A must have if you have a hobie and fishfinder.
This is a nice set up. It's engineered to work flawlessly with your hobie. Took 10 min to install. Waterproof! The only issue is that the charger didn't work. I messaged Amazon and the issue was resolved quickly! FYI, don't contact Hobie directly if you have an issue because they are useless. I called them direct thinking they would just just send me a new charger but they told me to "contact my local dealer". Not what I was expecting to hear. Thank god we have Amazon!

and this battery/wiring kit are perfect. Don't mess with other FF brands or wiring ...
Makes installing your fishfinder a breeze.Pro tip: If you bought a Hobie, buy a Lowrance. The scupper mount for the transducer, and this battery/wiring kit are perfect. Don't mess with other FF brands or wiring kits unless you like wasting your time playing at McGiver. Spend that time fishing instead.I chose to place my battery in the aft 8" port, since I can't reach it while on the water. Makes no sense to take up the space in the main deck hatch, but there is a school of thought that says put it in the forward hatch mounted to the sail base. The self-sealing wire crimp connectors are cool, but all it takes it one wiring mistake and you have to redo it. If that happens, get regular crimps and seal them with liquid electrical tape.Oh, and your Lowrance comes with a fuse kit. Use it.
