Native Union Clic Wooden - iPhone 5/5S Case Case - CLIC-BLK-WD - Black/Wood

Fits way too snug. Had a really bad time trying to get it off without damaging the wood. You really have to manhandle it if you want to get it off. Or on. It's pretty cute though. Just will be a pain in the bootay if you like swapping cases.UPDATE***I rated it a 3 at first but after only a few days of it being on my phone it had a 1.5 foot drop and it did not protect my phone from the fall. It cracked my tempered invisible shield and almost ejected my phone out of the case. It's also cracked at the top left and has multiple dents in the wood despite me trying my best to take care of it. (I know it's expected with wood)For a 40 dollar case... C'mon. It's stylish and all but where is the function?2nd UPDATE*******It's only been about a month and a week since I've had this case. It has been on my phone ever since. Sure it looks pretty nice but the durability of this case is pretty sad. I've taken good care of it and it already has cracks on every corner and as of today, a chunk of wood has come off. I've dropped it about 3 times since the last update and I'm about ready to take this off. Not good for daily use. Doesn't provide much protection. The case directly in contact with the phone is cheap and cracking. Even if you wanted to use it as a fashionable weekend case, the plastic part would crack when you take it off or put it on. I'm pretty disappointed. Would not recommend. A 40 bucks well regretted. And if you're thinking of using flash, yeah, just don't. And also, when you try to put it on all the way, you have to push pretty hard, which lead to me accidentally loosening the screen a bit. Thanks.Btw, how is this in any way rubberized or silicon? The inner corner isn't black like the picture which leads me to believe that this is a different batch and of different quality than previously specified by other reviews. As of late, it seems as though the reviews have been complaining about a decrease of quality. I would have had it refunded but it seems as though that option is no longer available. Quite the disappointment.And thanks, Amazon, for closing the option to refund this case. This case should come with a fragile warning label.

At a modern home wares boutique in Venice Beach a few months ago, the sales guy promised that you could drop your iPhone on the concrete and this case would protect it. He offered to let me test the theory with my phone, which I naturally declined. My wife bought one anyway and it was clear immediately that this is in fact a superior product. I ended up getting one a couple months later after my $30 InCase fell apart (ugh). My first week of using this, I was playing my annual round of golf and, during a too-fast turn in the cart - the thing went flying out of the cup holder and onto the cart path. I mean it went flying. The good news is that my iPhone itself was undamaged. The bad news is that the wood on the case got chipped a bit. Honestly, it would have destroyed a less sturdy product, and the damage is not so bad that I have even considered replacing it. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend loves this case- it's well made and looks great (we saw it in the apple store, so I knew he wanted it).To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan (there is no lip to protect the screen if you place it face down on the table), but the person I bought it for is very happy with it (we ended up buying 2).

Great case for a while, but I had the wood chip off of the corners after a few months. It's natural wood, so prone to wear and tear, and definitely looks cool, but after a while began to look dirty/worn. Good for a few months, as I said.

Had this case on my iPhone 5 forever and I loved it. It's beautifully made, comfortable in your hand, and the balance between the soft-touch on the top and the wood grain on the bottom is really pretty.Turned heads everywhere I went, and I never wanted to take my phone out of it.Cons: it adds a little bit more thickness than I like to entertain, and the sides by the volume buttons had a tendency to break off easily when banged around -- there's not much support there unfortunately.

Incredible design - the cases look awesome. I got tons of compliments on it.But... if you're using them for protection of you're phone, you'll be out of luck. I shattered a phone with one and I splintered the wood case and cracked the phone on another..

It is a very nice looking case that just didn't hold up in daily use. Also very expensive.

This arrived more than a week after the estimated delivery date and the whole back was warped so it did not completely fit my iPhone as a few millimeters of the front poke out of the case. The black section near the camera has already started to crack after less than 2 weeks. It is such a nice design & had great packaging. It is disappointing it is not up to scratch.

Loved the appearance but it’s broken only after a few weeks of use. Very sad because it was my favourite case I’ve ever had looks wise

An sich finde ich die Hülle sehr schön.Leider ist sie sehr schnell an den Ecken zerbrochen.Und stücke herausgebrochen. Klar hat sie mein Handy geschützt,aber ich hatte schon bessere Hüllen aus Plastik, wo die Kanten nicht so schnell gebrochen sind.Sehr schade :(

La coque "Clic Wooden" de Native Union est très jolie, mais mal usinée. Un certain nombre de surépaisseurs de plastique à l'intérieur l'empêchent d'épouser les formes du téléphone, des points de tension subsistent, et finissent par craquer au bout d'à peine quelques jours d'une utilisation normale - et sans aucun choc. Résultat, la coque est fissurée de parts et d'autres. Dommage, pour un si bel objet. Rageant, pour ce prix !
