Confession: I literally NEVER write reviews, but this item is too good not to rave about it! After three years of heavy use and many, many washes (two kids, two parents, two cats and a dog!), it was time to address the shabby situation our sofa was in. Like all Ektorp products, the frame and cushions are still in perfect condition, but the cover was just plain yucky. I didn’t want to invest in a new sofa because that seemed so wasteful. After much research, I landed on this sofa cover. It was difficult to decide whether to get this one or an actual IKEA Ektorp-made cover. Ohmygee...I’m so happy I chose this item!! This slip cover is perfection! My sofa looks brand new again—this is such a wonderful, cost-effective way to refresh your decor or just prolong the life of your sofa. It’s exactly like the original cover that came with our Ektorp corner sofa, but something about it is even better. The zippers, maybe? My cushions were super easy to put into their covers!I will absolutely purchase this item again!!

Wow!!! I'm so happy with my purchase. This replacement cover for my ektorp sectional is far superior to the IKEA replacement cover. I definitely recommend this cover...it's well made and roomy ..meaning it is easy to get on the sofa. The Ikea cover is always a tight fit..this one has room to spare. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

I purchased this slip cover November 2018. I am very sad it didn’t last longer. It fit and looked great, it just didn’t last. I’m not going to pay almost $300 each year to replace slip covers. I only spot cleaned it and handled it carefully. It has torn near one of the arm rests and the zipper came off of one of the cushion covers. I guess I will go back to the white ikea covers. They are durable and made it through the wash many times with bleach. I thought the grey would show less spots but it still shows water spots. I didn’t machine wash the grey covers because I felt they were less durable and I was right. These typically have great reviews. Maybe I just got a bad set. Unfortunately I am far past the return window.

Fits fine. But there was mice like droppings on the fabric. Gross!!

Absolutely amazing, I'm so happy I went with HomeTown Market instead of Ikea's version, not only did I get a top quality product (well made & beautiful thick luxurious fabric), a PERFECT FIT for the Ektorp original Ikea set (L shaped sectional, ottoman, and single seater), but it is also less expensive than IKEA and free delivery unlike IKEA. So the other thing I loved about this set vs. IKEA's is that the part of the soft cover beneath the seating & back area (where the Velcro is located) is made of cotton fabric and thoroughly sewed onto the cover unlike that cheap paper-like material that came with my original IKEA Ektorp Red corduroy covers when I purchased the sofas. My originals are all torn and ripped because that paper thin polyester material is so cheaply made. Soooo happy with these covers (see photos) gave my living room an elegant facelift for an affordable price and minimal effort.
