Avoid Purchasing This Product
Do not buy this luggage! When you have this luggage rolling on all 4 wheels at your side with your hand at the top it is almost impossible to avoid having your palm press on the release button. This collapses the handle, which stops you dead in your tracks. Poor design. How this got out of the testing lab is beyond me.....Samsonite must be hard up for cash. This is the Corvair or maybe the Pinto of luggage, except that no one has died. I'd like to return it, but since I first used it 6 weeks after I bought it I discovered this massive flaw after the 30 day return period had already expired.

Poor quality for a Samsonite
Bought this product for my 5th grade daughter to use for school. Figured it was a Samsonite and expected it to be high quality and able to handle the load of a 5th grader. Was deeply disturbed to realize the quality is just not up to Samsonite standards. The bag leans forward even without books in it. The bag will not sit straight up and is very hard to use as a rolling backpack. I've contacted the seller and am waiting to see how they are going to rectify the issue. For the price we pay for high quality product to receive such an inferior product, hoping to get a replacement soon.

It is exactly what I need
Use: I will be using this as a home to work bag. I walk some, take the bus and the metro.Required features: Spinner, room for laptop, books, lunch, iPad, knitting and if necessary enough clothes for a weekend. Comfortable handle or backpack/messenger options.Pros: It rolls wonderfully and fits through different size aisles. I'm not sure about a 17" PC by my 14 x 9.5 work laptop fits fine. The zippers are sturdy and there are enough compartments for all my needs and more. If a laptop doesn't fit in the designed sleeve, there is plenty of room in the main compartment for the laptop and more. The bag is not heavy and has a nice multiple height handle. One person thought the handle felt like it would break easily, but I have had others that were shakier that lasted years. The warranty is definitely a plus along with the sale price!Cons: It is taller than I like and friends who travel more than I do said it would probably not fit under a seat but would be fine in the overhead compartment. I would have liked larger wheels to help in rolling over more surfaces such as some carpets and unpaved walk ways.I looked at all the other PC bags with the spinner feature and they are based on the traditional computer/folder/office design. This was more than I needed. This was the only spinner backpack I could find. I just want to carry my computer without pulling my shoulder out of joint. I want to be able to reach in without having to open the compartment completely too.I like not having to open the whole thing to get to my laptop and feel it is well protected from bumps and gouges.

This bag does not sit up as shown in the picture. It is in a constant flopped over state when full or empty. I purchased 10/2015. I have been meaning to give this review. This is the way it has always worked.

Not exactly as advertised...
I read the reviews and they were back and forth on "will my 17.3" (insert brand name) laptop fit in this bag?" Some said yes and some said no and in the end I had to just order it and find out for myself. So I thought that the number of zippered pockets and pen holders and all of that kind of thing was pretty standard as backpacks go. I will say that the center section of the bag is cavernous, I could easily roll up 2-3 days of clothing in there no problem. I would have loved to have kept this backpack if my laptop would have fit. You see that number 19 in the description, as in 19" tall and you think that your 17" laptop should fit in that no problem but alas there is a critical failure there. The laptop compartment zipper is on the side of the laptop and it is not 19" tall (see the pics). My 2015 HP Envy M7 17.3" laptop would not go in the bag, it couldn't even be cleverly maneuvered to go inside the back in the correct padded compartment. If I could have even barely coerced it to go in the correct section do I really want to wrestle with that every day? Probably not...

So disappointed!
Bought this product for my 8th grade son to use for school. Figured it was a Samsonite and expected it to be high quality in despite of the bad reviews that I've read. Was deeply disturbed to realize the quality is just not up to Samsonite standards. The bag leans forward even without books in it. The bag will not sit straight up and is very hard to use as a rolling backpack. I've contacted the seller and they sent me to an authorized repair store, which is impossible to contact. For the price we pay for high quality product to receive such an inferior product.

Not good for a regular commuter...
Samsonite, what have you done!!! I wanted a spinner that was smaller and lighter than the mobile office and instead, I got a backpack that I have to drag behind me because right out of the gate, the handle wouldn't stay up. What's the point of it being a "spinner" if I have to pull it on only 2 wheels? It is so defective that it collapses on a whim with no reason at all. If that was not an issue, the bag itself would be okay, but this defect right out of the box is too disappointing. I'm not hard on my bags, but am getting older and when the bag I carry to and from work causes pain for me, it gets replaced. I will probably never purchase Samsonite again.

Surprised at this poor quality Samsonite bag. :(
I love Samsonite and I love spinner bags. I was very surprised when this arrived -- this is just a poor quality, poorly contructed bag. The telescoping handle is flimsy and I am worried about it breaking off (it's THAT loose..). The fabric is cheap, the seams are not strong. The zippers are loose -- as in they might slip and unzip very easily. I loaded it up with books and folders - things I need for work; while it rolled pretty nicely on hardwood floors, it's rather big and awkward when full. I wish there were straps inside to hold things in place so that stuff didn''t flop around in the main compartment. The best thing on this is the hidden expandable pocket on the sides for water bottles -- a 32 ounce Nalgene bottle fits nicely in there.Sigh. I've been needed a bag of this type, but I really wish this was a better constructed!
