Solid air mattress that’s great for camping trip
I purchased the Intex Dura-Beam Standard Downy Air Mattress for a recent camping trip, and overall, I’m quite impressed with its performance. The inflation process was straightforward—using a manual pump, it took about three minutes to fill up completely. The 2-in-1 valve is well-designed, making deflation quick and hassle-free as well. When it comes to comfort, I was pleasantly surprised. The sleeping surface is soft yet firm, providing a good balance of support. I used it directly on the tent floor, and it stayed inflated throughout the night with no noticeable air loss. The Fiber-Tech Beam Construction definitely makes a difference in stability, preventing that overly bouncy feel that some air mattresses have.A couple of things to note: this mattress does not come with a pump, so be sure to have one on hand. Also, there was a slight plastic odor when first unpacking, but after letting it air out for a few hours, it was barely noticeable.

Intex Dura-Beam Air Matteess Wins!
Definitely the best air mattress for the money! I have purchased several if not many air mattresses, from expensive to the least expensive, and this air Intex air mattress would fall into the “least expensive” category, and this Intex air mattress is hands down the best one across all categories, first and foremost DURABILITY! I’ve never had an air mattress that didn’t require at least one re-fill during the night - the Intex air mattress did not require re-fill. Comfort was fine. I mean, it’s not like sleeping on my temperpedic, but I slept fine on it. Air filling was easy peasy. You will need a pump of your own to fill as one is not included. Most people have one.I purchased 4, but only used 2, and had no problem returning the 2 we didn’t use.I also want to mention there were 4 kids from 2-10 years old around these air mattresses, and we did not have one pop. That’s kind of unheard of lol. Do I recommend the Intex Dura-Beam air mattress? You bet I do.

Super great deal!
Great durability, comfort and design. Th size is perfect. As long as u have a sizeable pump, its so easy to use and deflates really fast jst fold and roll. Its great for summer cuz it keeps u cool!

Bare bones air bed. Good for camping. Little short in length.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Reasonably comfortable air bed. Pumps up quickly (2-3 min) using a rechargeable air pump. Used for camping and held up well for a toddler and for myself (6ft 200lbs). It was a little short for me at 6ft, but for short term use, it's not a big deal. I did have to add air each night we used it just to firm it up a bit. Product seems well made and I would recommend.

Looked to be very flat but it was perfect. Blows up in minute . Very comfortable. Easy to store when not in use

Very Poor Quality- Unreliable
For many years, I have been using Intex Air mattresses. I started using them after having much more expensive Colman ones fail in less than 2 years. The Intex ones usually were good for about 3 years of camping trips or more for far less money. They were great! This year, I needed a couple of replacements and bought 1 from Walmart and 2 from Amazon. On our first camping trip in June, the Walmart purchased one lost half it's air the first night. Every night I had to keep adding air to it. I threw it away before coming home. This weekend, I tried one of the new ones from Amazon. It was worse. I had to add air in the middle of the night. My son, is still sleeping on a 3 year old Intex which has a screw in deflator valve, these new ones now just use a press in stopper deflator. Maybe this new, probably cheaper for them, design is the problem??I called Intex, and after 40 minutes on hold a person answered. I told him my concerns. He said that since the latest ones were purchased from Amazon, they weren't covered by their warranty. I wasn't so concerned about that, but mainly just wanted to tell them how bad this product has become. It would appear that some people in recent reviews have had better luck with these, but many are having the same experience that I have just had. Best to stay away from this product until Intex gets it's act together. I certainly won't be buying more.

Perfect for camping!
Great little air mattress. We used a pump and it was easy to inflate. It kept the air in it for five days and my kids weren’t easy on it. I slept on it one night as well and it was comfortable. I now own 3.

Good price, but not well designed.
Very good price and reasonably comfortable for what it is. Good for smaller spaces where a full size wouldn't fit.Be sure to press the plug in very hard when you fill it. The way it's designed makes it hard properly seal it, and very easy to plug in just enough that it *seems* to lock, and then will pop out and inflate at 2am and leave you on the floor.
