Excellent product.
I admit to having some reservations before placing the order. Small torch; low price; big claims! Too good to be true? But now that I have received it, loaded it with 3 x AAA batteries, and used it for a couple of days, I can honestly day that it is just about the best torch I have ever owned. The quality is excellent and the light it gives off is unbelievable - not just the brightness but the ability to easily vary the beam between a broad and a narrow beam. All in all a very satisfactory purchase. I recommend this torch one hundred percent.

Decent, but no instructions and the 1200lm claim is questionable
This is a decent LED torch for the price when on sale, but I wouldn't buy it for the stated full price.1) There is no manual or accompanying documentation whatsoever. Without the pictures on the website it would be really difficult to figure out the various functions or even realise that they exist. As I already owned a couple of 18650 batteries as well as a charger (they are common for high-end electronic cigarettes), and knew from the website that the torch could accommodate those, I understood what the empty plastic tube was for, but otherwise I would have thought that it only worked with three AAA batteries and that the plastic tube was just a housing for the AAA battery compartment. Similarly, without the website pictures I would have no idea how the zoom worked.2) The zoom is questionable. As soon as one begins turning the handle towards a more narrow angle, a "halo" marking the edge of the widest angle appears and stays there, with the more narrow beam appearing inside. And fairly soon when making the beam more narrow, it becomes square, just like the LED chip, and will not get any more narrow. Turning the handle further will just start showing details of the chip.3) I seriously doubt that it delivers 1200lm. I have a similar torch that I bought three years ago, which delivers 500lm, and this one doesn't seem much stronger.

Slightly disappointing light output for a torch rated at 1200 lumens
The construction is very solid, almost impeccable, and design functionally attractive. It feels very waterproof and substantial in the hand. The knurled diamond cut grip ensures it isn't slippery to hold as well when wet.Coverage of the wide beam is very even unlike the previous CREE LED torch I had. The finish on this is a nice matt black, where my previous one was gloss. The matt makes this look more expensive. My previous CREE LED torch had the supposedly inferior less bright T6 chip. This was rated at 300 lumens but was very bright. This torch has the supposedly superior L2 chip LED and comparisons on youtube T6 Vs L2 the L2 is significantly brighter. The lens on my Ledeak isn't optically perfect, there are fine speaks of dust which can't be wiped off. Not really noticeable unless subject to close scrutiny. The claims of the brightness of the Ledeak are 1200 lumens, however my old torch appears brighter at wide angle. The Ledeak seems a little dim in comparison. Which makes me question the 1200 lumen claim. I can only assume my previous torch is rated 300 lumen at wide angle, and the Ledeak is rated at 1200 lumens at full telephoto (the X2000 setting) when the beam is at its most focused and at its most intense brightness to register 1200 lumens. At long range telephoto both 1200 lumens torch and 300 lumens torch appear about the same, maybe my old 300 lumens torch is slightly brighter. The differing light intensities is useful. Although I don't think the torch is as bright as it could be for a L2 chip, it is still bright and it is slightly worrying to me, that there is no bright yellow warning sticker to not look at the beam - which my old torch has. So if there are others/visitors in your household who may pick up the torch and use it, there is no warning (as with laser pens). The size of this torch is also larger than my previous torch, more substantial to hold, but less compact for small pockets (both take 3x AAA batteries). The advantage of this torch is it also takes a slightly larger rechargeable battery - which explains the larger size.My old torch is rated at 2 hrs battery life on full power and 7 hours on 50% power. There is no such rating here as this torch is delivered without any instructions or specifications, just a plain torch in a bit of bubble wrap in a jiffy bag rather than a sealed retail pack like my old torch which came with a clip on dome diffuser to produce even room illumination, and a wrist strap and belt case to carry the torch on your belt. The Ledeak doesn't come with a case, only a wrist strap.5 stars for a 300 lumen torch, but 4 stars for a supposedly 1200 lumens torch.

Great quality product
Does exactly what is said in the advert. Seems sturdy and great light emitted. For the price I can’t fault it at all.

Blindingly Bright
Have had it for months now. Super impressed with its bright beam and ease of use. I'm still using the 26650 battery I put in it ages ago too!

Did not work
This item didn’t work. I tried to send it back but the Amazon process was too complicated. Couldn’t find the local store I had to return it to.

Good, powerful torch
Very good torch, very powerful and lasts a long time on the batteries. The lens however fell out when I first got it. Three notches are put into the metal to grip the lens in place though was not strong enough, simple gluing lens in resolved small issue.
