Moshi iGlaze Ultra Slim Case For iPhone 5/5S (Black)

I researched slim cases and wanted a thin, light case that gave my iphone a little bit of protection. This case definitely does this and is very sleek looking and made of high-quality. There are a few drawbacks that interested consumers should be aware of though. First, the texture of the sides of the case is different from the matte-texture of the back. The sides have a smooth, glossy feel, which look great, but are not great for gripping the phone, especially because it is actually so slim. I have actually dropped my phone a few times as I picked it up due to this, fortunately, only a couple inches from where i picked it up. I have since been extra careful when picking it up in this case, but that does detract from the satisfaction of the case in my opinion. Also, the lip at the top of the case makes it very cumbersome to depress the power button with my finger on top from the back when using one hand. I really like the overall look and quality of this case and am still using it, but am seriously contemplating switching back to my less-expensive option that has a better grip and overall feel.

Updated 3/20/13It has been about a month since I installed the case. The rubbery texture is now starting to peel. This is particularly apparent at the edge around the glass surface. I am a bit disappointed, but still love the fit. This case works well in all facets except for one: the wear factor. It's great in that it gives great access to all the buttons and ports, and it also keeps it nice and slim, which is a big thing for me.But there is a minor downside to this case: the rubbery finish that coats the case wears pretty easy, mainly on the edges that get the most use. So it does detract from the overall look of the case, and if that's a major concern for you, then you should probably stay away from it. But if that doesn't really bother you very much, then this puppy is great.

This product is a very nice addition to my i-phone 5. I saw a roundup of various cases and covers on a technology website I frequent and thought the Moshi iGlaze was attractive and well-designed. It is both. The color is complementary to the grey of the iPhone and covers it well in all the right places. It does not interfere with any operation and doesn't add appreciably to the slim profile of the phone and the weight add is negligible. A very nice case that offers light protection to the phone. A wise investment for someone not looking to cocoon their phone in an Otterbox or the like, or alternately, slip a silicone skin around the edges.

I have had the iGlaze case for well over a month now. No scratching or flaking as other have suggested. Clean, lightweight, and sleek while still providing the needed protection. I dropped my phone face down on the concrete a bit over a week after purchase and the rolled case edges rise just slightly beyond the screen depth keeping my phone from shattering. Be sure to get the Moshi anti glare screen protector as well. Best on the market!

For me a big part of choosing an iphone over something like the Galaxy S3 is its sleek size, so I don't want a case to add much bulk and take the sleekness away. This case adds about as little bulk as you could hope for. I don't know how much it would protect against higher falls but it's plenty enough for someone who's pretty careful with their phone. Recommended.

I have to admit that I struggled to get the protector on the back side of the iPhone and ended up not using it at all. I like how thing the case it and how it feels.

The case is not that good, a little scratch inside, and little silk of the sides, which makes it looks coarse, poorly made, I'm not sure if this is the REAL moshi case(according to the seller, they say it's normal), but I don't really like that. Also, there are some differences between the real items and pictures. Pictures always look better than the real. Just My opinion

My fried had one of those cases and I always wanted one, but didn`t want to spend so much money on it. Finally bought it! This case has the best feel and it`s really thin, doesn`t protect the front of the phone, as it`s not supposed to. Would be a good present to any adult.

Sleek and stylish, protection is average. Might not withstand large drops
