DarkhorseExtended Mount Mobile Device Holder for DJI Phantom 3 Standard To Clip Smartphone

This is a great mount. I wasn't paying attention and thought it was aluminum because of the looks and I was a little concerned if the look was worth the extra weight. Turns out it is just VERY convincing plastic. It really looks like aluminum. It is very stylish and functional. It holds the phone at a great angle and has a very smart method of adjustment. It is a little tricky to assemble because it doesn't come with instructions, but it is pretty easy if you pull up the product page and look at the pictures. This mounts the phone clamp part using a tripod type screw, so I actually ordered a separate tablet tripod clamp to try screwing onto this mount. I am using it on a Turnigy i6s TX.

This device works well and wasn't that difficult to assemble and install. It's a major improvement over the OEM plastic stick that connects to the chrome wire stand. In addition, I can still connect my neck strap to it. I highly recommend it.

It might be a nice product but with NO instructions it's hard to tell. You can use the pictures to get the general construction but there are several minute pieces that are difficult to determine where they go. The joints will not tighten up so unless I can figure all that out it's uselessAfter further review: I messed around with the assembly and eventually figured it out and it seems good enough now... still could have used some instructions...

This product was worth the buy. It is much stronger than the plastic device holder that came with my drone, and it fits perfectly onto the front of the remote control as shown in the product description.The clamp is spring-loaded and provides plenty of grip strength to hold my iPhone 5S.

Well built, does what its supposed to, much better than DJI's contraption, fits in my hard case almost as good as original does, and i would recommend to all. Only flaw is that I see absolutely no reason this device couldnt be revised to work for both phones and small 7-8 inch tablets. It just needs to stretch a tiny bit further! Other than this, its perfect!

Avoid! the product is poorly made. When I installed it the joints loosed up and when I attempted to remove the product it bound up to the eyelet. I had to drill it out and slightly damaged the eyelet on my transmitter. Not worth the hassle.

Great addition to my DJI Phantom 3. The stock smartphone holder seems cheap and flimsy unlike this one. Very easy to install and fits the transmitter great. Would highly recommend as a replacement for the stock smartphone holder. Took me all of 5 minutes or less to install.

Pretty nice. Has a few different ways to be set up, depending on your device or viewing angle. Does not come with any instructions. Not a problem really, but I think it should come with some sort of diagram.
