KONOV Mens Leather Bracelet, Stainless Steel Tiger Head Clasp, Black, Silver, 8.6 Inch

I normally love KONOV jewelry, but this bracelet seemed to be poorly crafted. The overall design was nice, that's why I gave it three stars, but the strips in the tigers' heads are smeared like the person rushed them. A little disappointed. Probably would not recommend this piece unless it was bought in person for review.

I ordered a few of these as gifts quite some time ago forgetting they ship from China so their arrival the other day was a surprise as I had comletley forgotten about them. They do arrive well packaged with a nice black velvet jewelry pouch.The Tiger heads are well cast and heavy and the detail as well as finishing is well done and crafted. The leather however is definatley faux leather - but I expected this. Recently I purchased a rather expensive 100% leather chair only to have a friend of mine who spent his career with Natuzzi Leather confirm it was indeed fake. Needless to say the chair was returned.According to about.com fake leather has become so "real" looking and feeling that it fools most everyone, even the experts. As for the bracelet it's probably Bonded leather which is a mix of pulverized leather scraps and polymers. Regardless, for the price it can't be beat and there's no shortage of apparel and furniture sold openly as being made of bonded leather.Not as chunky or thick as I expected but it still makes a definitive and edgy statement. You can Google "silver and leather bracelets" and you'll come across extremely similar styles selling between $300 and a David Yurman collection beginning at $900.So to get the same look for a mere thirty bucks I believe excuses and flaws the piece may have.Unlike Sterling Stainless Steel never tarnishes and needs much less attention to keep it gleaming and clean. The clasp is great but tricky - make sure you press "in" by the little and hard to see seam, then slide the open piece through the tigers teeth. It's a bit like puttig a key onto one of those little rings that attach to a key chain.Definitely a handsome piece and bound to get stares and complements it's unique aesthetic isn't overwhelming so if it reflects your sense of style I would say grab one

Too big and bulky, looks cheap. I threw it in the trash can!

I really love this bracelet. The tigers really look well made. But its too big. It doesn't fit on my wrist and there's no way to adjust the size. It could fit on my forearm :(

Needed to be 9inches instead of 8.5 but it was nice thou on my wrist

I ordered this with an Amazon gift card my son gave me for Christmas because I've always loved the feline grace of tigers, plus it's my Chinese zodiac sign. I'm so happy I did! The tigers are incredibly well detailed and have a nice solid weight to them without being heavy. The leather band is nicely braided and fits smoothly around my larger (for a woman) wrist. One note - you push down on a piece of the silver ring joining the tigers' heads in order to open the bracelet. This is another Konov piece that gets compliments every time I wear it. I'm a "biker chick" and both male and female friends have asked for ordering information - especially since this looks awesome with black leather and denim. However, I've also worn it with a simple black dress as a single statement piece and it got a lot of positive attention that way too. It came well packaged and arrived in the middle of the projected arrival date range. Very happy with this bracelet!
