RITUALS Advent Calendar 2021: $112 at the time of reviewMy wife and I, though fully grown adults, have a tradition every year of getting each other a nice advent calendar. It's really fun to have something to look forward to during the month of December. I usually get her something from L'Occitane, but this year I decided to switch it up. The L’Occitane calendar is full of lovely fancy bath and body gifts, but the presentation leaves a little bit to be desired. So when I saw this Christmas village advent calendar on Amazon from rituals, it seemed like a great way to spice things up a little.*What I liked*:Darn near every aspect of this advent calendar is an amazing experience. It comes packed up in a box wrapped like a gift (and really, it is). Opening it up to reveal all of the gifts inside as well as the set up pieces shows just how much effort went into producing a quality product here. Each individual house has little opaque window panes to allow light to show through them. And speaking of light, it comes with a battery powered LED light string and instructions to (meticulously) affix that LED string in the right places underneath the frame of the box in order to ensure that every house lights up.The contents of this advent calendar are also excellent. I'll admit, I felt a little trepidation in ordering this instead of the L'Occitane calendar because of how high quality the contents of the latter are. Both my wife and I are happy to report that the contents of this calendar are at least on par with those. As an added bonus, not everything in this calendar is skin care related. There are some neat things like candles and other little bits.The last thing I mentioned here is that I love how the entire calendar itself becomes a beautiful light up Christmas decoration. I'm almost tempted to repurpose it for next year (and add my own little gifts into each little house).*What I didn't like*:The only thing I'm going to mention here isn't even something that I particularly dislike. I just want to mention it again to make sure that people who buy this know what they're getting into. It took me like 45 minutes to get the lights taped into the correct spot. In the end, it was totally worth the effort. But just know what you're getting into.*The Bottom Line:*This advent calendar from rituals absolutely exceeded my expectations in just about every way possible. The lighted look is amazing. The contents are excellent. And the fun of pulling a little house or tree up each day to open it up was my wife's favorite advent calendar experience to date. This is the easiest five stars out of five that I've given a long time. In fact, it's so good, that it earns an exceedingly rare gold medal from me 🏅 (something that I reserve for only the very best items I review). It's worth every penny and I would absolutely buy it over again.

I received one of these years ago and enjoyed every item from it. I bought another last year for myself and my teen to enjoy. All the scents are good and the products are good quality. This is fun to set up and you could re-use it. We kept it out for decor for the rest of the winter. The little light set in mine wasn't very bright but if other lights were off in the room, it was cozy and cute to see. Well designed and a great way to try various Rituals products. Most are made in the Netherlands.

I purchased as a birthday (12/10) gift for my sister and gave it to her early when it arrived so she could open the gifts. It was so much fun watching her set it up and marveling at how beautiful and well made it is. She got to open the first four days immediately, and was thrilled at the beautifully scented and luxurious gifts. She sends me updates frequently of her favorite (of the day) items and describing delicious fragrances how much fun she is having and how she looks forward to opening each days gift. This was a wonderful gift and hopefully I’ll purchase more next year for my other sisters.

This was such a pretty setup. You get all the different Ritual products inside the calendar and the calendar then can be used as a Christmas display. It had a good variety of products for men and women including body wash, soaps, candles, perfumes and hair products. It was a wonderful variety of products and the fact that you get to set it up as a Christmas village for display just adds to the value. I do wish some products were a little bigger but it was nice to sample lots of different items. It would be even nicer if price was a bit cheaper though.

I bought this for my wife, she loved this so much. Great quality products, easy to set up, beautiful gift! Will buy another one in the future!

Great products & a beautiful Advent Calander BUT ...It has a couple draw backs.1. It's far too much of a pain to set up. FAR TOO MUCH!(Unless of course your loving husband/partner/ The Giver does it all in advance.If... I purchaed this for myself, I would have been highly stressed, and probably used almost every product in the set in ONE day, post set up!Now, that aside. If you are a Rituals lover, as my self. You would be Highly-Highly Dissatisfied, as I already possess most of these products.My opinion is either you need to bump it up, but offering ONLY exclusive products in your two different advent Calanders (Or premiere them here atleast!)Otherwise offer more desirable items or larger products.Again love the village Advent Calander!I purchased the Xmas tree as well, but after 2 weeks they canceled my sale due to lack of products...I was upset with the outcome. but was very pleased esthetically with the village after purchasing it!However- I have so many doubles & triples of products I already possess!My top faves were the perfume & Lip balm/chapstick in a metal button activated case.

If you have anyone whose into body care products, this is the perfect gift for them! The box, and the little houses / tress that products come in are very well built. The products, especially the candles smell great and appear to be high quality. I am buying this again next year, and I highly recommend ritual products.

I purchased this as a gift and it was returned to me so I put it together and decided to treat myself. I'm glad I did! I appreciate that it has a wider variety of products. Some for home, some for body, but all are a sweet reflection of the season. I will do this again next year.
