Hape Railway Play and Stow Storage and Activity Table for Wooden Trainsets

This table is so cute, I love that the storage area doubles as additional play area with the tunnel. The double sided panels are really cute too. It’s very heavy, great quality and most importantly (to me any way) it was SO easy to put together. From start to finish it took 30 minutes, that includes taking it out of the box and unwrapping everything. It came well packaged with everything in bubble wrap.I’m so glad I found this table. I spent hours looking at other brands and stressing about the mixed reviews. I stumbled upon this one and what first drew my attention was the size. I didn’t want something that’s going to take over our playroom. It’s perfect, not too big for our 2 year old and not too small for our 4 year old.I can’t wait to see my kids reaction on Christmas morning! This was a great buy, especially with the sale price.

Bought this for my toddler’s train set. Feels sturdy. Easy to put together. Two choices for backgrounds. Love that we can use extra storage in the bottom if he doesn’t use it for two-level play. Took about 20 minutes to put together, and all tools/supplies were included. The edges feel smooth. Very happy with this!UPDATE 1/21/2018: We've been using this for several weeks and recently started using the double-level feature. Another reviewer mentioned that positioning the tracks on the double-level can be tricky, and I agree. It can be hard to line up the tracks so that trains go under the arches. We had some trouble with trains hitting the arch when they pass under it and derailing as a result. I used some 3M Command strips to hold the pieces of track in place under the arches, and the trains are consistently clearing the arch now. My toddler is really into tunnels, bridges, and arches right now, so the two-level play is a big hit.One thing that's important to note about this table is that it's smaller than a lot of other tables. I wish we had more space to build more complex tracks, but the pictures will give you an idea of what's possible. If you have an extensive track set, you might want to look for a larger table. If you have a small space, then this could be perfect for you. Sometimes I regret not purchasing a bigger table. I would give this 4 stars but that's really my failure to pay closer attention to the dimensions.

This a great quality product that was easy to assemble. The only reason why it got 4 stars is because it’s rather small in size. It is perfect for my almost 2 year old but he will outgrow it quickly. The table has room for one figure 8 track and that’s about it. So far, my son really enjoys playing with it.

We searched for weeks for a sturdy but versatile table for our 18 mo. We love this table. Easy assembly, the double sided panels are really cool, and it has great storage space. The panels are well set-in so even when our little one presses or leans on them, they stay put.

The size is good for kids' activities, and the design is really attractive. This can be used for a creative, small wooden railway set-up or for creating scenes with building blocks and wooden animals. I got it for a really good Amazon warehouse deal. The paint appears to be durable. My husband said that it was easy to assemble.

Love the table. The perfect size for our small townhouse. It is more sturdy than anticipated (particularly the removable slats) and was easy to put together. Our 2 yr old loves it for cars and trains.

I have ordered two different railway set and neither fit the table. Customer service (By that I mean Devin) was absolutely no help. The table is advertised to make it look as if you could assemble the set and store it way by simply placing the cover on. But since the set did not include instructions on how to do this it was impossible. When I inquired about a set that would fit I was told I would have to disassemble and remove tall structures ( bridges, overpass etc.) but we never even got the layout to fit inside or on the top surface. It would run about two inches over the table top. And worst of all one of the leg is broken. I was excited about this company and now I just want my money back.

Cons: Very strong chemical smell, despite allegedly abiding by the epa regulations for formaldehyde levels. Bottom line, this probably shouldn't be around your kids if you care about their health. Also a few panels came scratched up.Pro: Visually a very nice table, table top picture is very nice and reversable. Table is decently sturdy, and edges were rounded off, which is nice for kids.Summary: Be careful what you put in your household and protect your health. A product can off gas chemicals into your home for years and cause major health complications down the line. Might not be worth it even for a nice play table.

Bellissimo come tavolo da gioco, per piste ferroviarie e molto altro. Utilissimo il vano interno sia per riporre i giochi sia per variare la dinamica della pista. We bought this for Christmas, mostly for our 21 month old. There were no reviews at the time so I was unsure to go ahead as I had some specific things I wanted toknow.Thankfully everything I wanted from it, it has!*easy to put together - about 10 minutes*really good quality* loads of storage under the detachable table bits* perfect height for toddlers* can fit other toys or storage under the table as well as under the lid* not as big as the Melissa and Doug version (too big for us) but plenty big enough to be just as good.Perfect really!!
