Eh. It's okay
More of a tease for a storyline than anything else. I'd love to see a sequel that actually builds on the story created here. Not really worth it since it just leaves you wanting without really delivering on anything besides creating an environment for a good story.

Good movie
I really liked this movie. It seemed slow at first for me, but once it picked up it really had some great camera work.

Terrible and Scattered
The story is very scattered and is quite drawn out. The character development is poor as well. Definitely not a 3+ star rating as stated by other reviews. Save your money

Kind of a vampire movie, but not really.
This movie reminded me of the horror movies I watched as a kid in the 70s. It was pretty good but not particularly scary. Since it says Prologue in the title I'm thinking this is the first of more. I think they're trying to create a Twilight type movie. There were a couple of surprises and decent acting and script. Not too cheesy in other words. I will probably watch the next installment if there is one.

A Horror Junkie's review: Interesting, visual, and intriguing
I was plenty satisfied by this movie. There should be a special rating system for the streaming horror flicks. They run the gamut of horrible to entertaining to great. I'm talking about the "unknown" type of films that you have nothing to go on besides the reviews. And those are often planted, to get people to watch, or unfairly critical, which seems to be the trend nowadays. There are some technically well made movies I might not get into for some reason, to poorly done ones that I don't get into, to middling, bare bones type/just adequate movies that I actually enjoy (like the lo budget 'Watch Me'), and then of course, the technically well done ones that I did really enjoy. 4-5 stars here means I am not sorry I spent my time and money on it. It was worth it. Bela Kiss falls into the latter category. The technical aspects of the film are very good. Can't punch a hole in any of them. The story is engrossing. There's a lot of intrigue and mystery to keep the tension well paced. I really liked how it kicked off with that scene on the road when the hunter bumps into them. That was a nice, effective surprise. The impression I got from this film was more of a dreamlike, slightly hallucinatory/surreal touch. I thought it was really well done and showed talent on the part of the filmmakers. They are unknown to me but perhaps better known in their native country. I would definitely watch their next film. Oh, I watched this one during prime time viewing hours. I will often try a film that I have no feeling for (not sure how I'll feel about it) on non-prime time hours, like Sat. or Sun. afternoon. Or while I am preparing my pets and my dinner, etc. Not this one. It stood up to my prime time test, which means it was definitely good.

Looks Sleek but in reality is a Bore
Filmed well but acting and story are horrible. Plot is aimless, characters are poorly crafted and circumstances are beyond simple disbelief. Was very quickly bored. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS

Wes Anderson meets Hostel
Strange movie, but worth a look. It's got great atmosphere, a bizarre story line, excellent cinematography and acting, plus some decent horror and suspense. At times I wondered exactly what kind of movie I was watching - it has a sort of art house feel to it in places, and at other times devolves to an all-out slasher. It's an odd style, but captivating for an hour and a half. The movies sums up the plot somewhat, but opens new doorways at the end, hinting at the continuation of the story. I'll probably watch the sequel, whenever it comes out. Looks like a decent story in the making.
