Easy Fix
Co when the in-laws Acorn stair chair started beeping with a no charge error while sitting at both the upper and lower charging areas it was a pretty easy diagnosis. Took a voltmeter and tested voltage at the charging contacts on the rail and there was no voltage at all. Unplugged the charger, cut the leads and tested the charger..again no voltage. Ordered this replacement and soldered the leads to the existing stair chair leads and voila, all worked well. Super easy, the replacement charger does not even require matching polarity .
