Kipling Challenger II Backpack, Graph Multi, One Size

This bag is small, but it can fit everything you need for school. I bought his for college and I am able to put in my 12 inch laptop, my iPad (with sleeve), and three thick A4 binders, plus my waterbottle and pencil case in the front compartment. So...it is small but the design gives it more storage space than you might think.I do believe, however, that whether you like it or not depends on your body type and height. With the small size, this bag will look a bit awkward on tall people, but it looks very good on people who are not too tall or athletically built. For reference, I'm 5'4, and I always knew I should never use a backpack that's more than 15 inch high, otherwise it'll just make me look funny. The Kipling bag is exactly what I wanted. There are other good things, such as its durable and easy-to-clean nylon fabric, and the monkey that has its name! Mine is called Kim, and I like it :-)Overall, a great buy. The price is worth it. If you're a lady and you are buying a backpack for daily commune, I couldn't think of a better choice.

I am a grandmother and I have some back and neck issues. I have found that carrying a back pack is much easier and less painful to do than carry a purse and/or briefcase. Before I retired, I carried a slightly larger one that would hold my laptop and files. When I retired I started looking for some that were smaller, but that I did not have to give up carrying 'essentials' (lol). A year or so ago, I found this one. I have loved it. The silver color makes it unnecessary to change because it is a good neutral color. It has lots of compartments/pockets. It can work with a MP3, there is a place for a phone and it is light weight and very durable. I bought this one because I wanted another one for when I finally wear out the one I am carrying. I get a lot of compliments on it and I am often asked where I got it. Everyone from young girls to seasoned citizens like myself have admired it. I carry it EVERYDAY and EVERYWHERE. Also, it is comfortable to carry, even or especially 'fully loaded', like mine usually is. I highly recommend it, especially if you have back issues and carry a large bag.

Bought this to replace my falling apart Sherpani purse/backpack. It's a little bigger than a purse, but smaller than a regular backpack. I find it to be a nice size for urban adventures (I travel a fair amount, and having just the right bag for airplanes or Disneyland or whatever is crucial!). I am currently using it as my work bag - I can put my small Dell laptop in it, but my full sized Mac laptop won't fit. I can also add my iPad, a book or two, and lunch. For travel, I actually put a tiny purse inside of it so I am only dragging around one bag, but then I have a little shoulder purse I can remove later.Material and zippers are sturdy. Nice looking but not a "polished" look - very casual. I bought the brown one and think it looks good. Needless to say I took the ridiculous monkey off of it, but my daughter was excited to put it on her own pack.Not sure I'd recommend this for a guy, unless he's short, since it's so small, it might just look weird. Is that sexist? Just saying. Might work nicely for a younger boy. Would be a great elementary school child's backpack if the parents don't mind spending this kind of money for that sort of thing. Would not be big enough to carry all the books they give you in middle, high school or college.Giving it 5 stars because it suited my needs perfectly. People who are expecting a full size pack might be disappointed.

The backpack surprisingly fits a lot of stuff, and keeps my things dry! I took this on a trip to New Zealand recently and the bag held up well. I especially like how the bottom part of the backpack isn't flimsy--it's not 100% stiff, but it's sturdy enough for the quality.I'm giving it 4 stars because it isn't very comfortable when worn on. It felt a bit uneven at times (depending how I placed my items in my bag). I also realized that the middle pouch isn't best for placing heavy items because it causes the bag to pull forward... but that's just my opinion.

I bought this backpack because I was tired of having to carry an extra bag along my purse to store stuff that did not fit into my purse. This backpack has become my daily purse and I could not be happier. At first I thought it looked a bit small but, in fact, it is bigger than it looks. For example, I can carry, along with the usual purse stuff, two 1 liter cartons of coconut water and still have space left. It is very comfortable to wear and it is great for walking - excellent for museums. In the main compartment there is a very secure zipper pocket and in the smaller compartment a key clasp (so smart). I have other Kipling bags: they are all very well made and smartly designed. Last, but not least, it comes with a monkey.

I have the Kipling diaper bag which I love. However, as my baby gets older, I realize I don't need all the stuff I was carrying around before. Also, a shoulder bag is just too bulky since I baby wear her alot. I was looking for a backpack to transition to and didn't like any of the diaper bag backpacks. They are also way to big and bulky.This bag is awesome. I like that it's opens fairly wide so that you can see into the bottom of the bag. It's also not to tall so that the bag doesn't have that 'black hole' affect. The inside is a contrasting color so you can actually see into the bag. It doesn't have any inner pockets but it still works for us because of how deep it opens. There are two outside pockets that don't take up room on the inside of the bag. Even when we travel and the bag is loaded, it's very lightweight. You barely notice it's on your back. I can see using this bag through my baby's diaper bag years. Overall, a really great backpack.

I love this and have used it for years. It's nice and discrete, not too large, with lots of pockets and sections. A really nice urban backpack that looks classy and a little fun.
