MAC Face/Body Foundation C5

Bought this as a fake tan for my body and really can recommend it for fair skin. I use it mainly on my arms and legs and the C3 for my neck and décolletage. It dries quickly and stays put until I shower. It looks natural as it's not too dark and covers or at least makes freckles less obvious. If I wear white it does rub off slightly and jeans or tops will need washing after wear but who can get more than one wear out of white clothes anyway? I don't use it on my face as it's too drying and do put moisturizer on my body before applying it. I don't think it contains sun protection so should probably use a moisturizer with an SPF 30 before applying it but haven't bothered so far as I haven't been spending much time in the sun so far. Compared with real fake tans that last for days it's a bit of a drag to apply it daily, but as I haven't found a fake tan that suits my colouring, I'm happy to spend a few minutes doing it. The only drawback is the price which is fairly steep when it's used daily. However, in Australia, where everyone seems to be tanned, it's my way of looking "healthy". If I'd had my time again, I would have protected my skin more carefully and been proud of my fair, freckle-free skin, but alas, the sun has done its work and a little colour is now more flattering. I have used DuWop's Revolotion in the past but have had trouble finding it in the lighter colour but it's also very good.

I love the way this foundation looks really natural and makes my skin look better. I just wish it had more coverage. I have melasma and it just doesn't cut it for coverage on my forehead. It's a beautiful formula and I highly recommend it if you don't have hyperpigmentation or redness to cover.Be careful buying MAC products on Amazon. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.
