A Very Good Monitor for the Price
I had been looking for a 32 inch monitor for quite some time but I've been held back by the price point. Most of the 32 inch monitors that seemed decent quality started at $400/500 and up. When I saw this monitor show up on an Amazon search about a month ago I was very interested; however, this is a new product and there were no reviews on it so I was somewhat hesitant to purchase it. Nevertheless, I looked at reviews on other LG monitors and felt confident enough to get it. This monitor is connected to my 17inch MacBook Pro in a home office/study. It replaced two smaller Dell monitors that were positioned side-by-side. I use the monitor mostly for academic work, in other words I do a lot of reading, research, and writing, therefore, I was looking for a monitor that would give me sharp text. This LG monitor has some special settings for reader's mode but I didn't find them very appealing; Nevertheless, I found a setting that I found satisfactory. Overall I'm satisfied with the quality of the text displayed on the monitor. The monitor has one RGB connector and One HDMI. I was only able to get the 1080 resolution through the HDMI. The monitor is very bright and clear. I backed down the brightness to match my Mac display and to cut down on eye strain. An add-on to the monitor is a downloadable "OnScreen Control" program from LG that allows you to easily adjust the monitors settings. A feature I am especially happy with is the Screen Split function that allows you to partition the monitor in 10 different configurations. This allows documents or applications to be dropped into a certain area of the monitor and it automatically positions and sizes the document to that particular pane. At the time of this review I've only had the monitor for three days - so far so good. I had a problem when I tried to register the product online. This monitor is so new that LG doesn't have it listed in the drop down menu in the registration process. Consequently, the only way to register the product was to send in the registration card. I submitted the problem to LG. Overall, I'm very pleased with the monitor. I believe it is an exceptional monitor for the price.

Great Monitor and at a great price!
This is an awesome monitor! If you want a 1080 resolution 32 inch monitor then look no further. To be clear though, if you want more space on your monitor then this one won't help. If you want everything to be bigger and easier to read, then this is the monitor for you. I use it for everything from gaming to surfing the web to watching movies.Pros:Very affordable 32 inch monitor (I paid $250 and what a great buy)Vibrant Colors with no stuck or dead pixelsLooks great from any angleZero Ghosting in games and movies and games and movies look amazing on this monitorThe stand holds the monitor securely and actually freed up space on my deskI use the headphone jack to power my speakers and sub-woofer and it works perfectly for meCons:The stand doesn't adjust upward (not a big con in my opinion though)Only one HDMI port and no DVI port (not a huge deal for me as I have a HDMI switch)The software it comes with works ok but I had to adjust some windows sounds settings (easy to do)I bought 3 of these for friends who asked me to pick one up for them. They all love the monitor too. Just make sure you have a HDMI port on your video card before buying this monitor. It doesn't have a DVI port and you will be forced to use the analog connector or buy a new video card. Overall quality of the monitor seems very good at this price point and this monitor exceeded my expectations.

Great Monitor, Great Price
After about 3 weeks, I wanted to review the screen. I absolutely love it. I'm a tax accountnant and use to use a 23 inch monitor. I like placing the current year info for taxes and last year's tax return on the same screen to review and see if anything does not appear to be correct. With the 23 inch monitor, both returns were able to be shown , however at a magnification of 70%. This drove my eyes crazy. With the new monitor, both can be place on the screen and have a magnification for both at 95%. Much easier on the eyes. One of my customers noticed the larger monitor and asked where I bought it. He wanted one too.I do have a little concern about clicking. The monitor sometimes picks up sounds and then creates a clickiing sound. However, it's not too bothersome to outweight the benefits of clear sight.Someone was complaining about the colors. Colors come thru clear and sharp. For $239, how could you ask for more.

LOVE THIS MONITOR!!!!
Ok, I am not a "gamer" so I can't speak to all the super fine details of the monitor other than to say I LOVE IT! I even returned a 4k because I like this one so much better. The screen is glossy, not matte, so the colors jump off the screen. I have not had an issue with glare but I understand if some people might. I bought the 32" version and paid $177 for it. I loved it so much I bought a second one and after being out of stock for a while some other sellers began selling on amazon and I ended up paying $237 for the second one I liked it so much. It was also very hard for me to find a 32" screen that wasn't curved (can't stand that) and was glossy, not matte. At first the writing on Microsoft Word and amazon was hard to read and I thought I'd have to return it but after reading some blogs I rebooted the computer twice and by the second time everything was legible and easy on the eyes. Would definitely recommend this.
