Must have addition to "The Essential 99 Punctuation Rules for Court Reporters."
I'm a scoping student and found Mr. Wick's punctuation books so very helpful. I especially appreciated the pointed-out differences between Morson's and Bad Grammar, Good Punctuation. I have been looking for a little extra punctuation practice in addition to my school texts, and this filled the bill perfectly. The only minor gripe I have is that there are scattered typos (and a couple verb tense errors) throughout, which are in the exercises and then copied over into the answers. Maybe there wasn't a proofer, who knows. However, the actual information is correct, so , as I said, very minor complaint, not enough to keep me from giving this book 5 stars. I'm just looking at the errors as practice on catching them! ; ) UPDATE: I noticed Ken Wick added this statement to his profile (so he must be reading his reviews here, lol) -- "The only problem is people expect me to be perfect. That's why we have editors and proofreaders, right?" -- Well, to that I say, "Fair enough and very true - however - if you are writing a teaching book and earning $ from it, maybe use editors/proofreaders before putting it out. :)

Nice little additional resource
A little smaller than I expected. But it has a lot of good grammar essentials in here and it works great along with Morsons Court reporter guide. Good practice too to help you work on grammar.

Grammar book contains typos!
This concise workbook gave me valuable practice in punctuation. However, the typos and grammar errors in the book were distracting and a little disconcerting, making me wonder about the credibility of the author. If I were him, I would rectify the mistakes post haste!

Good Idea, Flawed Execution (Permissions)
Good resource, especially in view of the fact that Morson's is extremely hard to find and quite spendy when you find it, and not to mention how expen$ive Margie's books are.Unfortunately, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this book to readers of Cheap and Sleazy, as this book was written without permission or input from neither Ms. Morson or Ms. Wells.

Great, but has spelling errors
I'm on my way to becoming a scopist, so I thought this workbook would be good practice for me. So far it has been, but there are so many spelling errors, it kind of makes you question the book's integrity. I'm enjoying it nonetheless, just be warned if that kind of thing annoys you. Also, I would recommend getting the punctuation rule book this workbook is based off of, for ease of reference to the lessons.
