Parrot Airborne Cargo MiniDrone - Travis (Yellow)

Having read some of the previous reviews, let me start by saying I have never flown this outside. Bluetooth range is so limited I do not believe it should be flown outside. Anything can happen once you leave range. Besides, who wants to risk losing their Legos? I purchased this mini drone as an indoor toy.I was pleased that it came with a variety of stickers for customization, but I ended up leaving it plain. I want all of my design to come from Legos. I chose to make a Batcopter for Batgirl as my first project. I was very impressed with the amount of weight it could take and still perform well in flight. It still maintains level flight even though my design is not perfectly balanced. The photo ability is fun. It can still perform all of its stunts and functions with blocks and a figure attached. The flight app allows you to record from your phone and transfer the drone photos to your phone via Bluetooth.I was fortunate to purchase this for $40 with shipping--much better than the $70 price at Target. As a $40 Lego indoor mini drone, I could not be happier with this product. A dream come true.

This drone was purchased for my 7-year-old son. Now that we have it connected to his iPod he flies it easily, but connecting it was a huge issue.After going online I had to spend some quality time looking through the FAQ's to find out what was wrong. We kept getting an error message telling us to update, so we updated the software several times. It wasn't until we dragged the update from the desktop to the drone itself that it finally connected. I had no idea it was the DRONE that needed updated, not the software to fly the drone. It was painful to keep my 7-year-old waiting for it to work, but after several hours we were ready to go. We haven't had any issues with it disconnecting at all.The pictures are a little fuzzy, but I expected that. They are easy to see and download. It does some pretty cool tricks, flies higher than we expected, and I'm impressed with how steady the drone flies. My son loves it and now that it is connected I do too!

Very fun little quad! My four year old loves it because he can fly it with little instruction, and I have it set up like a normal transmitter is(was the easiest way for him). Now he can be like daddy when I fly bigger quads.

when it worked, it was brilliant. however, after around 10-15 flights over the course of a couple of weeks, it started to develop a wobble along the front-right to rear-left axis. the ultrasonic sensor also became very hot and the battery drain was significantly higher, yielding around 4 minutes of flight time iso 7-9 minutes previously.camera was low resolution but was quite fun for aerial selfies.unfortunately I had to return it was it was defective. ordered another Minidrone with my fingers firmly crossed!

When we had to replace a propeller it kept leaving to one side.

Very disappointed in this item and would not recommend anyone buy this. Day 1, the drone worked fine - we could see flight data and tracking via GPS. Day 2 - the drone uncontrollably flew away (literally hundreds of feet in the air) and GPS did not track its location. Now 5 days later and the APP still does not show any flight or GPS data for our final flight. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

It flies very well, but it has a very short flying time before it dies. A minor problem was that it stopped working. We then had to get a new one, but that has been working great! My son loves his drone!

The drone is a good product for beginners.

This is a great starter drone and works best if you buy the FlyPad remote controller. It is so much fun!

Esta muy bien para echarse unas risas con los hijos.Es muy facil de volar,se mantiene estatico en el aire sino se opera con el.Se maneja muchisimo mejor aun si tienes un mando de parrot,y ahora estan muy bien de precio...incluso por unos euros mas te compras el parrot swing que ya lo incluye.Hay que tener cuidado con el viento,porque al ser muy ligero con algo de aire ya no es tan manejable.Hace unas piruetas fantasticas.Es un buen drone para iniciarse y es muy resistente a los golpes...se me ha caido de alturas de 8-10 m y aguanta sin problema.Bien por parrot....mal porque los dejan de fabricar.

Per quello che costa è eccezionale: è stabile, abbastanza veloce, anche solo col telefono riesci a pilotarlo anche a una buona distanza e inoltre è arrivato con un giorno d'anticipo.Ho provato sia il travis che il mars ma il mars è ancora più stabile e preciso: lo consiglio.ControLa batteria è un pò limitata, ma è un problema comune nei droni di piccola tagliaÈ abbastanza suscettibile al vento, altro problema comune nei droni piccoli e leggeriLa fotocamera ha un angolo un pò troppo stretto e non potendo vedere dallo schermo cosa stai fotografando capita a volte di inquadrare male, inoltre al buio è pressoché inutile.ProÈ molto stabile e precisoÈ molto robustoHa la capacità di portare carichi extra fino a 14g (una microcamera full hd per esempio)Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente alto.

Mon fils de 12 ans est ravi de ce cadeau. Le drone est stable, facile à prendre en main. Les loopings sont du plus grand effet. Article de bonne qualité ! Il est léger et donc destiné à un usage intérieur.
