Defective right out of the box
I bought this for an active speaker 6x9 project I hooked it up to 19volts dc and it doesn't work. No hissing, no heat, no sound, nothing. Tried another 12volt power adapter still no luck. Bought a tpa3116 amp instead and works perfectly. This is the 2nd tda7492 that has not worked. 1 from parts express shorted my power supply & went up in smoke and this one simply doesn't work. Do not buy
