7 Buttons Mini Universal TV Remote Control Keychain Black

I have an older TV that uses an older Roku setup. To turn the power on and off and adjust the volume, I needed to use a separate TV remote. That remote has about two dozen buttons that change inputs, run DVRs and all sorts of things I don’t need. So I got this little jobber that simply turns the power on and off and changes the sound level. It’ll change channels, but since I use Roku, I don’t need that. Setup could not be simpler. Push the MUTE button until you see the MUTE display and then you’re in. Now I can put away the big ol’ TV remote and just use this little guy.

I tried and retried on different Insigna tvs but it did not work. I changed the battery but still did not work

Unfortunately despite my holding down the mute key (as per directions) for quite a few minutes, my Insignia TV never responded to it. The good news is that Amazon promptly refunded my money.

Not the greatest quality but easy to set up and it works great.

Be careful - this is not a learning remote! You cannot program the individual keys to mimic some other remote control (I planned to use it to control a fireplace). You can only use this remote to control your TV.

I have a spare TV I use as a shared monitor between 2 computers and was looking for a smaller remote to change inputs on the TV. Thought this might do the trick, but I was sadly mistaken. 1. While it's not overly complicated to program, I did have to reprogram it 4 times to get it to work. 2. If you hit the AV/TV button, it will bring up the input change menu but neither the CH or VOL buttons will allow you to scroll to different inputs. 3. You really have to press the button down HARD to get it to register.Final verdict: Waste of money, poor quality, pass on this if you're looking.

Best little remote ever! Good for stealth at work! Also entertaining watching people look to see who is controlling the TV
