Great Monitor for gaming and work
Got this for use with a series X (I have been lucky enough to source 1 :)) and PC.Never been so happy with a monitor!Colours are great and handles 120hz brilliantly, so adds a bit of future proofing in the gaming dept.Brought the new Xbox to life after originally using it with a 27" curved 1080p samsung.HD streaming content has never looked so good.I also use it for work which includes video editing and design work and its equally great for that, with plenty of screen real estate for main editing window and tools all on the same screen. If your in the market for a new monitor this 1 is full of features and you could do do worse than to consider getting 1 of these.

Brilliant for me
I'll leave it to others with better eyesight to comment on picture quality.32" (well 31.5 to be exact) is perhaps on the high side for 1440p for many people. As an older(ish) guy who wears varifocals, this is the perfect monitor for me.The curve is just right so that all parts of the screen are equidistant (if that's the right word) from me and I can see everything by turning my eyes, rather than turning my head. Anyone who has worn varifocals will know what I mean.I have windows text, icon etc display sizes set to 125% which is great for me and the picture of this 1440 is miles ahead of the 1080p tv (also 32") that I recently used as a monitor.I mostly only play older rpg's and browser games, read internet, watch netflix etc so I'm in no rush to spend on a graphics card to fully exploit the potential frame rate of this monitor, but having, gamed, run benchmarks, watched movies etc, I am more than happy. (amazon basic speakers for sound)It came very well packed (empty box heavier than the monitor). UK power card and 3 video cables included (1 hdmi and 2 displayport I would guess, haven't opened them). The instructions for attaching the stand were too small and vague for my eyes, but it's a doddle. base attaches to riser with no tools required, stand then clicks into monitor securely and that makes it easy to lift out of the box. Stand is really solid and height, swivel and tilt are very good indeed. This is my 3rd attempt at getting a new monitor (1st was only 1080p which is definitely not good enough for 32", 2nd was from amazon warehouse and sadly was DOA) and I so wish I'd picked this one first time around.

As advertised
I read tonnes of reviews for curved monitors. I'm not a gamer but I work in software and thus long hours in front of these things. I really wanted to try a curved monitor but was down deep a bit afraid that it'd turn out to be an expensive whim of mine. Not at all. Having a lot more windows in immediate focus really helps in getting that feeling of immersion and flow, which translates into more productive and less tiring stretches of work. The lack of rotation into portrait mode, the "just ok" black uniformity and the image degradation with increased viewing angles weren't an issue for me because, respectively, 1440 vertical pixels are enough and I don't plan to use it vertically, I'm not a gamer and not planning on watching dark films on it and it really is only me bang in front of it.The monitor is heavy and sturdy. The stand is strong and doesn't wobble. You can easily detach the monitor from the stand.

Good for the money
This is not a bad monitor for the money. I love the curvature and feel it less than I first thought I might. I was also umming and rring between the 27" version or this 32" version as I though the 32" might feel a bit large when sitting close up but it didnt feel too big in any way and am gald i didnt go for the 27: in the end.I dont play a lot of gamesand mostly use this monitor for working from home, so cannot comment too much on refresh rates , ghosting etc, but have played Mortal Kombat X on here and its fantastic. One reason I have not gven it 5 stars is that right out of the box there was 1 dead pixel on the right half of the screen. However in all fauiness I do not notice this at all unless I am looking at. a plain black screen, so I never notice it in normal day to day use.I falso eel that the 1 place for improvemnet would be on the sound front. There are no built in speakers (which I knew in advance) which is a bit of a shame as that would have taken this screen to the next level. I have connected my screen to external speakers and there is also a headphone mini jack out. However once my laptop is connected via DP cable to the screen the volume control on the computer itself becomes disabled and either you have to control the volunme from the application you are watching/listening from (you tube/Itunes etc..)or there is a headphone volume control on the screen but you have to go into menues to access it so its not practical to keep putting up and down. They should have had 2 buttons on the front , side or underside dedicated to volume. Alternatley if you are running out to extrenal speakers and they have a volume contol you could control volume from the speakers themselves. Then 1 other thing I would have liked to see is a USB C port so that you can connect your laptop and have it charge at the same time without the need for an extra charger cable. As I am not a big gamer when I do play MK i play from a laptop which only has 2 x uUSB C out, one of which is to charge the laptop. When playing games I need 1 of the USB C ports to convert to DP to connect to the screen and the other USB C holds the bluetooth dongle/receiver for the gaming remote which means I cannot charge the laptop at the same time as playing, effectively giving me a cap of about 30 - 60 mins of gaming before the laptop battery is dead.So sadly a few features missing that if they had been added would push this monitor into a whole nother level (and probably price range...he he.)However if those niggles wont affect you its a great monitor.
