LS2 Helmets Visor for MX453 Helmets

This visor had come with some reviews stating this to be a great buy. I agree that this looks great and has appeal but funtionality is so-so.Pros - Great look and nice tint helps when riding into the sun.Cons - Has a bad distortion when your looking down out of the nose of the helmet. Not good at all especially when getting technical on the trails. To say the least it was a let down when I put it on my helmet.Overall an OK buy if you can deal with the no good distortion out of the visor. I would not recomment this for that reason being it is a safety concern, in my opinion.

Looks very cool and is just about perfect tint for day time riding. I no longer have to wear sunglasses while wearing the helmet with this visor. I can still see well at dusk but obviously not as good as with the clear visor, can make it safely home if the ride goes long.Riding into the sun is not a problem as most of the light is reflected reducing glare

Perfect fit, just the right shade to block out the sun and dark enough to prevent your face from being seen but not too dark to make day riding feel like night. For me, the distortion glare that I see on the clear shield is less noticeable on this tinted one. Plus it makes the helmet look even better.

This is NOT an exact replacement for the original. The lip where the visor meets the rubber gasket isn't even close to airtight. I would expect major wind noise. Very disappointed.

I really like the look of the blue tint, however, I do see some distortion and it does fog up pretty quickly...
