Gold Standard Intel Pro/1000 need I say more...
Love this NIC! I know it's a server nic. It is simply awesome, downloads happen very quick and passing data around my network is really fast. I finally fill like I am getting what I am paying for with comcast(250mb). I love windows10 too, because they hold onto a lot of legacy code and because of that, there are a lot of things you can do to make windows and your hardware run faster. First and foremost update your drivers for your nic that should go without saying, then edit the system.ini file and dedicate some memory to it and you will see how fast this nic can really go. this edit will work with most nics but not all. If it works you enjoy much faster speeds if it doesn't oh well it wont hurt anything. happy editing

It works great just make sure the card is not in the cmos boot order.

Works well in my FreeNAS server
Built a FreeNAS server out of an older desktop.. Built in Realtek adapter kept crashing.. FreeNAS and Realtek don't play well together.... Was looking for an Intel based but inexpensive card as this is just a home file server and Plex server... Installed the Intel card and all is working perfectly... no issues, no crashes when moving large amounts of data.So, for the price, seems just fine.. No Regrets
