Actually better than i expected
This headphone amp is built like a tank. Im pretty sure that it will be working for a good amount of years, has plenty of power, using iems i didn't need morte the 1/4 of the power and for a AT M50x no more than half of the power and its stereo so i now can connect the headphone output of mi HX Stomp and tell the sound guy that the monitor mix for me doesn't need my signal in it so i can manipulate the mixes on the fly!But the best part was a surprise for me, read about the necessary level attenuator for turning down the monitor out signal of most of mixer that is level to mic level, so i ended buying a DI box with a attenuator built-in for that reason, but for my surprise when i see these monitor amp it actually has a selectable input level signal, you can choose between Line or Mic so no more need of use a external attenuator or a DI box, now you can plug directly a monitor mix output of the mixer into the amp without distorsion, less equipment to carry around so the button resolves this issue!Really nice and practical piece of equipment! 10/10

Great for listening to drummer's click track...
I need to listen to my drummer's click track for a few specific songs. I would run a line with a splitter to him (I think he uses his iPhone w/ a metronome app) and took a regular set of cheap earphones and cut the right plug off so that I have a single plug that I put in my ear for the 3 or 4 songs that I need to be in lock step with him (I play keyboard). I always have my powered floor monitor on my left and put the ear plug into my left ear. I found it disconcerting and a little hard to hear my playing on those songs as I was plugging the ear on the same side as the monitor. So, I found this little gem with it's 2 channels (1 quarter inch, 1 XLR) and am now able to use the THRU jack on my powered monitor to put my monitor mix into the headphone WITH the click and adjust balance on both!! Problem solved!!ONE THING TO NOTE: I had to purchase an attenuator due to the level coming out of the powered speaker being line level (JBL Eon 610). The input on the Rolls is mic level and would clip no matter how low you set it. I was able to pick up a -20db attenuator for cheap on Ebay from a seller located in England. I think it was under $7 shipped. Don't spend $35 on a Shure -50db attenuator. At least not in this case. The cheap one works great.

Great Product: Keep Tweezers Handy
This is a great product! It is durable, highly portable, and capable of routing sound in so many ways. I have a few of these for different reasons.I use these for the direct out capabilities on my In-Ear Monitor system. I also used it to add a second channel to a single channel amplifier (adapters not included), and I use a pair of them for pre-amplfying my live dual channel bass rig while being able to use the monitor inputs at the same time as aux-in jacks.. Changing the pin placement is a little hectic in the middle of setting up if you need to change the ground/lift: keep tweezers handy.

Work great in church setting
We have several of these for musicians at our church and they seem to work really well and have lasted a while. We run an aux out to one of these boxes and the musician can control their mix using an app and plug nice headphones into this box mounted next to their instrument. The price is reasonable as well.

One of my better decisions...
We started using these for our worship team about a year ago and they have revolutionized the way we play. For the longest time we were using Mackie SRM450s for stage monitors and, tbh, the sound was always on the edge feedback due to high stage volume and inexperienced sound techs. There were times when you could turn off the house mains and keep the stage monitors on and hear very little difference. Using these little boxes has been a life saver for our team and for our sound engineers. We have completely eliminated our squeals and excess noise. We can now get our team on click tracks and loops thanks to these little guys. Now let's be clear, these are not Avioms or Sennheisers, but for less than $100, you cannot beat these Monitors! They are very simple and easy to use. You can chain them together using the Mic In and Mic thru channels, and you can also maintain your own personal monitor mix as well. My only complaint is that the 15v Power Adapter for them is very flimsy and I've had to replace mine a few times. After using them for over a year, and even comparing them to the Behringer version, Rolls is the way to go. They give you a much clearer sound and are much more ergonomic. If you are debating on whether or not to take the plunge into using ears, I would highly recommend starting with the ROLLS.

Just what I needed!
My drummer told me about these a while back, he used in-ears and swears by them!He is exactly right!Dont know why I waited so long before going in-ears, and with the Rolls you have much more control than just having a feed from the board.Another plus is you can mic your amp at home, mines a tube amp without a headphone out, have the volume at bedroom and have the volume in your ears as loud as you want it, then run a feed from your phone or tablet if you need to learn some new songs for the band, none of that Bluetooth mess, disconnecting all the time.Sturdy build, should last awhile!Really can’t recommend this unit enough, excellent product!

Low Priced and Effective In-Ear Monitoring Solution
To give a little bit of my background, I design and install sound systems professionally. I was recently asked to build out a new system with an extremely limited budget where in-ear monitors were absolutely required. At $44 a piece these in-ears boxes saved the day. It was initially planned to chain multiple boxes together by using the mic input and mic thru on each box. However, the output from the board was much too loud and would clip the PM50s making them basically unusable in this way. To remedy this I simply used the boxes as they were designed and made XLR to TRS adapters to run the board output into the correct monitor input. Just wanted people to know that the max input volume on the XLR input is -20db and the max input volume on the TRS input is 40db (per the manual). Had I read the manual I would have been aware of this issue ahead of time.
