My son is obsessed with all things vechicle-related, so I’ve bought numerous cars, trains, planes, construction vehicles, boats, space shuttles, you name it! Wooden, plastic, metal, we’ve got ‘em all lol. As expected, I’ve watched my kiddo both cherish and destroy his toys through the hard work that is play. I’ve seen what I thought was a GREAT toy just get smashed to smithereens. On the other hand, I’ve seen some low quality ones outlast the best of them.I like to think I have an eye for what’s good quality. THIS car is absolutely WONDERFUL.I was able to take advantage of a sale and got it for $28 +tax. It’s not the most expensive car toy out there, but I was definitely hesitant. I had it in my cart for a whiiiileeee before I just went for it. The reviews were good enough so I put my faith in it and prayed that my 30 smackaroonies would be well spent.This car is sturdy and simple. Nice weight to it and can withstand some banging and dropping. The paint is vibrant and minimalistic. The design is nice overall, also minimal. Love it. It’s much bigger than I expected and large enough to fit all types of toy passengers. The doors open and are attached by stretchy cords ..or strings? Either way, it’s great for my toddler who can be a little rough with opening his car doors. I waited to do this review to see if it could stand the test of time with my 2.5yo, and it did. This seems like a toy that has the potential to last years upon years. I wish they had more cars, I’d buy the whole set!

This item arrived promptly as promised by the seller.We purchased this item for our little granddaughters (3 & 6).What a cute well made, sturdy little wood car, no assembly needed. The little doors open and close nicely. They play with it everyday. It’s been 3 months, and so far it’s holding up extremely well. It’s an easy size for little hands to use. shows no signs of wear.It’s a great value for the money, I would highly recommend this item!

This sturdy little car is perfect for my 3 year old daughter! She has no problem putting all of her Hape family figurines into it by herself(unlike some of her brother’s vehicles which are not meant for them). Already hours of fun from this car. Nicely painted and well made.

Purchased this to go with the wooden dollhouse I gift my granddaughter for her birthday. It fits all of her wooden dolls and she loved pushing it around. Great quality and perfect toy for her to use her imagination. She was happy with the gift and I was happy with the purchase. Reasonably priced and I don't see any reason why it won't last a very long time.

This is the perfect addition to the doll family I purchased for my 3 year old grand daughter. She loves it! It's well built and just the right size for little fingers.

Perfect little car for toddlers! I really like that it is wooden and that is is painted so well. The little doors open and the wooden dollhouse dolls I purchased fit in it so nicely. Really a cute and fun toy. Grandkids like it already!

If you are stuck in analysis paralysis over which dollhouse accessories to buy, let me say that I've been there, and this was my favorite purchase. You won't regret buying this car.It's easily one of the best doll/dollhouse accessories I've seen or owned. It is perfectly proportioned for 1:12 dolls, it's high quality, and so very functional. The dolls fit in nicely (this is critical) and the seats are large enough for them to stay seated. I have the HAPE dolls and Melissa and Doug and some other random dolls - they all fit and are supported by the seat backs. The wheels run smoothly. The quality and finish are perfect. The doors are sturdy and still open/close easily.I've written a couple of negative reviews for HAPE accessories. I haven't been in love with HAPE's line of dollhouses and accessories at all. But Hape got it exactly right with this.This is a dollhouse accessory you definitely won't regret.
