VW T5 replacement head unit
Fitted to my VW T5, easily fitted and great head unit. Impressed with how quick it is and the android options available.Support was also great via email for a couple of queries I had.

Great for apple CarPlay, and lots of other features
So, I was looking for a unit to put in my 2008 vw Jetta, I hade a look on eBay and found some generic one style ones that had wireless CarPlay, but after a lot of consideration and research it turned out these units were laggy and just not up to the job, I had a look on Amazon and spotted this so did my research and decided I’d bite the bullet. It arrived the next day with all the facia plates and looms and all. The actual install was easy to do and the wiring harness was easy to link up as it’s plug and play, the only problem i ran into was working out how to get the facia plate on the unit. It was confusing for mine as I had to use the serveall adaptors provided to get it to the correct size, but it was slightly loose so I used the provided screws to try and hold it in, it is secure now but it would be nice to have some specific instructions per facia plates as this confused me. Once in and set up, the unit is quick, easy to use and has so many features that can be really handy, firstly the CarPlay is quick, responsive and works well, it has the torque app on the unit for engine digonistics(note you do have to purchase an obd2 reader if you want to use this) and has full equilizer control which is a massive plus. If your looking for a really good well made unit, I’d recommend this one just for how responsive it is and quick

fits like a glove in my 2011 vw caddy. fantastic piece of kit, would definitely recommend to anybody wishing to upgrade from there original vw factory fitted radio.

Dead on arrival
Dead on arrival.All looked brand new and packaging was immaculate. After wiring everything in and attempting to power up it failed to even turn on.Diszapointed that amazon can't replace the item as the wiring was already in place. I had to spend a further hour removing all of the wiring.I was hoping that the Chinese stuff had improved... Guess not.
