Outstanding performance, quality, safety, finish, sheath, balance, aesthetics, and value!
Superb! Totally designed for the Professional and the novice. The length and weight are excellent for preventing throwing out your elbow, increasing accuracy and distance. Strategically placed milled divots and grooves are perfect for adding grip while allowing slip for every possible hand position. No matter how you throw it is comfortable and consistent. The finish is excellent, once again allowing perfect grip and slip while hiding scratches. Each knife matches the next in size and shape. There is a downside which can also be considered an upside. The edges are very thick and very dull, therefore only a perfect or near perfect throw will stick into the target. This is great for the beginner who has to be more concerned about ricochet, because they're safer, but in competition they need significant sharpening on a belt grinder to remove stock. Otherwise I am good enough that i don't have to modify them at all, as i stick them perfectly 95 percent of the time. And they stick hard! Very good quality sheath as well. Sort of an orange color tan, but way better quality than any other sheath I have seen coming with any knife set I've purchased. Better than Hibben. Better than cold steel. Perfect blend of toughness and flexibility. If you want to own throwers that you will enjoy and impress your friends, buy 2 sets of these. Excellent

Durable and simple
My first set of throwing knives and now that I own a number of different ones, these are still my favorite. Made from stainless, they are well balanced and even after several thousand throws, they still are intact. They dont have sharp sides, basically just the point is sharp and they will dull or if hitting each other, they will gall and chip. Not the hardest material but relatively easy to resharpen and for no spin or full spin, I have good success. I have others that are sharp enough to skin a deer with but for throwing I like these better- they may not stick as easily as a sharp edged blade but it is hard to get hurt with them when picking them up or carrying a handful of knives.

Solid
Pros: Hefty but not heavy. Great for spin throwing. Super consistent throws. You don’t need to file burrs away as much because the steel is kinda soft so it compresses rather than shears away. Good price for a great knife for beginners too.Cons: Don’t feel like they’re gonna snap in half but they pick up compressed dent like areas easily. The machined holes in the tans/handle area are quite sharp. It took a some time and a Dremel to smooth that out. It felt like it was gonna cut me eventually. Because they have an integral guard it makes no spin throwing a little more limited.Summary: Love them. My beef with the knives is petty compared to the overall quality. If I do any sort of spin throwing these are my go to. They’re so damn consistent. Highly recommend.

Great Throwing Knives
These knives are awesome. They are a great wight and balanced well. Thise Ziel II don't come sharp ( which dull is ideal for throwing knives). some cheaper knives like the SOG and the Monarchs come sharp and are also not as thick as these knives. Paying the extra money is definitely worth it cause these knives are good quality and haven't broken yet like both the SOG and cheap monarchs did. Ive seen reviews on youtube saying that its good to bench grind like a 1/2 off the tip of the blade cause it thins out, inorder to avoid bending of the think tip, But ive yet to do this after a month and have not had any problems. One thing that might have ben nice would be if the edges of the knife would be rounded, because all the edges are a perfect 90 degrees and when you hit one knife on top of another it makes a light chip/ding out of the knife, but this really is a big deal for me. Overall these a great especially for the pricepoint and are great for spin throwing, I throw form mosty 1 rotation but also 1//2, 1.5 and sometimes back up to 2 spins. awesome knives

Mixed feelings...
First of all, the comments about these knives being too sharp aren't at all right. These knives aren't sharp at all, they are dull and very appropriate for throwing. I like the feel and enjoy throwing these knives. The universal problem with these knives is that they absolutely will break their tips off. They usually break about a 1/4 of an inch or less off the point. When I bought my set I knew this going into it and was prepared to do what was needed to fix them. If you have a grinder and you reshape the point so it is at about a 1/4 of an inch or maybe just a touch more from where the original point was then you will probably never have another problem with them. Just understand that if you get these knives then you will have to do this. So, if you don't want the hassle then this is not what you want. If you can get passed that then these will end up being good throwing knives for you.If you aren't going with these throwing knives then you might think about these:Cold Steel True Flight Thrower-Pretty popular knife, fairly hefty thrower, good quality blade, paracord wrapped so it will eventually come undone when it is struck with another knife a few times, very sharp (not a good thing for a true thrower, especially if you are going to throw by the blade)Gil Hibben Throwing Competition knives are pretty good and they are very affordable.Cold Steel Sure Balance and True Balance throwers are good throwing knives also.Stay away from really cheap knives. I promise you, you will get what you payed for. Also, if you are serious about throwing then stay away from the small knives (6 inches and under). If you think the ones listed above are a little too big for you, and you want a little smaller knife thats affordable then go with one of the Gil Hibben Large Throwing Sets or his Hall of Fame Knife Throwing Set. These are all around the 8 1/2 inch range.
