HP Compaq EliteBook 8440p Docking Station HSTNN-I11X 581597-001 HSTNN-111X

I used my laptop's power supply and everything works well. Besides the DVI and SVGA video ports, I also use two USB ports to support two additional HDMI capable monitors and use a 4 - 27 inch monitor (1920x1080) configuration. My friends tease me calling me Mission Control. The Elitebook 8460p i5 on Windows 7 (64 Bit) does work well with 16G DRAM. Full video performance works on DVI and SVGA ports. The Monitors using USB work slower since they use the CPU rather than video card. I definitely prefer the wired ethernet lan connection over WIFI.

Not a lot to say about this. Bought it, gave to hubby, he hooked it up *actually, he hooked his laptop up to IT, and off he went. No misery, no wailing and gnashing of teeth.It just works....who could ask for more?

Docking station was exactly as described, brand new in the box, worked perfectly, and arrived exactly when I was told it would. Can't ask for anything better than that.

This is a solid design and solid unit. Your laptop has to snap down at a specific angle for it to engage, but once in place it works well in every aspect.

Received the docking station and the price was good, but there were 2 USB ports that were bent, and took some technical services to fix it.I took care of it, but average person would have returned it.

Just what I needed since having to work from home during this COVID19.

This item only works once in awhile

I really like the dock and the fact that it is so easy to hook up my laptop to it. I have to take my laptop home everyday after work, so I needed this so I didn't have to worry about unhooking all of the cables. I only gave it 4 stars because I can not start the computer while it is docked. I have to take it off the dock and start it, then I can put it back on.
