Jagwires have nailed it with these highly polished cables.
This new cable is far better than the old jagwires with the black telfon coating. The old stuff will have the black coating rub off. This new line of cables are highly polished and offer similar effect. They are as smooth as the coating cables.

I have used Jagwire a lot through the years. They seem to be a tad bit more expensive, but I sure do love it! Always silky smooth and terrific quality.

Very smooth
I paired this cable with LEX-SL cable case, and wow… I am new to this “new” Mtb deal, as 15-20 years ago things were less “extra”. So many crazy improvements… this is one of them. Both bikes that I used this combination on have had amazing improvements to the way they shift. Phenomenal…. Worth the couple extra $$

Good but not the best
I’ve been using Shimano OptiSlick for years now on my road bike, and decided to try this because the Shimano was not in stock. Well, it’s good, but the shifting is not as crisp. It’s doable though.

Exact replacement and long enough for my recumbent.
Many replacement cables are too short for my Bacchetta recumbent, but this one is plenty long. It's an exact replacement for the OEM SRAM shifter cable that came with the bike. Can't say anything about durability because I just installed it, but it appears to be top quality. I expect it to last a long time.
