Works very well
This product does exactly what it says it does. I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting when I bought this, but I was a bit surprised with how it works. You simply place the cord through the central pin, click the two sides together and twist. It took me a couple of times of winding and unwinding to get the cord to the length I wanted, but it is pretty easy and more or less foolproof. I only gave it four stars because it is significantly larger than I thought it was going to be and when you open the curtains it requires some finesse so that you don't unwind the entire cord (i.e., don't pull on the cord winder).

Simple, effective design
I wanted something inexpensive and uncomplicated to keep my toddlers from playing with the cords for our window treatments. These fit the bill. Installation took maybe a minute and my window coverings are still fully functional.

Not very sturdy

Not enough space for longer cords.
They really don't hold a full length of cordage for longer blinds (72 inch blinds on the back doors) and it's hard to get everything to fit inside that little space. Turned out looking messy but they kept most of the cord out of child's reach.it would be nice if they came in colors too so you didn't have a big white ball hanging from your Windows.
