Awesome product,arrived faster than originally stated. And this Hot spot is the best I've ever used. (Use with ATT prepaid services and i cant say enough.

Not unlocked as in the advertisement!
They advertise the device as unlocked but they sent me a T-mobile device. This is wrong! No wonder a lot of people are complining for failure of connection to non T-Mobile device. I have previously purchased several truly unlocked ones and they work very well with any network. I am a very unhappy customer now since this transaction wasted my time and cannot take it with me soon!I gave one star is since there is nonother option. Amazon should take such incorrect advertisement seriously. Wastimg peopls time and money is wrong!!!

Doesn't work with Mint SIM/T-Mobile
I purchased a SIM card and data plan from Mint Mobile and activated it (this is a reseller on the T-Mobile network). I verified with the SIM in my phone that the card was active and I could use the data. I then put the SIM card into the Alcatel device, and while it could receive SMS messages for that number, it would not provide data (even after adding the T-Mobile APN as directed). So it just didn't work for me after a few hours trying to get it working. The device itself seems outdated and it might just have issues working with newer technology, I don't know. In any event, I cannot recommend.

Product works Great
Initially, I felt frustrated because I couldn't get to use the item, but I reached out to the Supplier, who responded within 24 hours and provided a solution, I followed the instructions and immediately I was good to go......
