Remington Durablade MB 010 Beard Trimmer

Have the Phillips one blade which is a great piece of kit but wanted a 'back up shaver' for travelling and midweek shave and this fit the bill the fact it recharges via usb being a good selling point.Shaves my old face down to a very passable 'clean shave' but without skin irritation, which I like as I'm plagued with shaving rash when wet shaving, believe me I've tried all makes as a head shaver? Nope dragged a few times and it was uncomfortable, the one blade beats it hands up as a body groomer, but with a five year blade life it does as it says on the tin, a decent face shaver based on the Phillips one blade, for the price its worth a punt... Happy 😀

This Remmington is a good buy.I saw a review for the Phillips one blade after I'd placed my order.The Phillips looks to give a better clean shave overall ...but you have to replace the blades,which are not cheap.So glad I got the Remmington ,it gives a good enough daily shave,not baby smooth,and gives nice edges around a goaty.I shan't be buying anymore disposables and foam.Happy with this unit.Would buy another.

Watched some videos of this product so got excited and ordered. Unfortunately this product fell very short of my expectations. When shaving generally, it was not a close shave at all. Had to use a razor to get closer. Perhaps it was not designed for a close shave.When I tried getting a nice line around my tash and goatee it fell short again. Could not see properly to achieve a nice line where I wanted. Made me realise that my Gillette razor was much better and easier to use. Sorry!

I had originally given this a 5 star after first use, as directed by my husband, however second time was very different to first as in it tugged/pulled the beard hair and didn't trim it some places and in others left 'holes'. I have requested to send it back but haven't heard anything from seller!
