Avondale Manor 3-Piece Madrid Duvet Set, Queen, Teal

Pros:•Inexpensive•Duvet cover is easy to care for (machine wash cold, tumble dry low)•Has ties on the inside for comforter•Looks nice•Great pattern•SoftCons:•The product does not match the color listed (it's more cream/yellowish tones than brown, taupe tones) (see photo).•The solid side of the duvet and the Madrid print side are two different colors. The colors aren't a massive difference but the tones of yellow are different and it's noticeable. The Madrid side also had a sheen to it.• The tufts are held together with one string which leads me to believe they won't last long (see photo)• The pillow shams are not easy to care for (spot clean only).I would not purchase this product again. When it's time to replace, I'll spend the extra money for something that is crafted better and a color I want.

I bought the navy set with my fingers crossed that it was a bit darker than the photos of it. Many of the reviewers had mentioned that color was not true to photos and I was one hoping this was the case as I was looking to match it with a navy sheet set I found on Amazon. It definitely is a Navy Blue :) and matched the sheets (and curtains) perfectly! I had decided it was finally time to "fix up" our bedroom and make it look nice as well as more comfortable. Being the type of people who had no idea what a Duvet was (seriously thought it was a type of pillow - guess that's what a sham is) I looked into learning what they were and difference between it and standard comforter (what we were accustomed to). Living in Northern Ohio winters get super cold and summers get super hot (humid hot) and we are the type of people who always, no matter how hot, have to have a blanket over us in order to sleep. So the idea of a Duvet appealed to us as we could have it thick and warm for winter and light and cool for summer. For now I just put our current comforter inside of it till we find a Duvet we like. I had looked at several bed sets in stores but had serious sticker shock and didn't find any information truly loved (seriously this all started bc I had Kohls cash I had to use or would soon loose :/ I ended up buying a mirror that matched this pattern after I found this set online) I was really trying to find a nice blend of manly and girly for us. The navy color is perfect for him, the litter pickups added a feminine touch (reminded me a bit of my wedding dress) I was able to find a sheet set and curtains to match! Everything went into the room yesterday (except the mirror) and looks fantastic, in my opinion, there is still work to be done but we finally have what resembles a grownups bedroom!!! My husband hasn't had any complaints (ladies with men, you know that is a great sign in itself) I can't wait to enjoy it. I will update the review if anything changes or problems arise with use or washing

I love this duvet and pillow case set!!It came with no physical issues except the color doesn't match the display photos. It is a navy color and darker than the display photo which I knew before buying by looking at reviews and photos that were posted. I have had it for a few weeks now and washed it twice, no color fading or loose stitches. I have a dog that loves to dig and nest in my bedding and it is holding up very nicely. It is a little slick and likes to slip down my bed, but it isn't bad and wouldn't be an issue if you have a footboard.Highly recommend.

Very, very pretty. Like seriously, it's pretty. I got the king-size in white. It says the shams are 20x40, but they're actually 20x36...so don't drive yourself crazy looking for 20x40 suitable pillow inserts like I did, then realize they don't even fit. 3 stars just because their mistake in the description honestly wasted a lot of my time (20x40 suitable pillows are RARE apparently) and I'll have to send these pillows back. Otherwise, it really is very nice. My comforter doesn't move around and bunch up inside like in my last duvet (that was SO annoying). I do wish this duvet had a zipper closure instead of buttons, though...so that was a bummer.

Honestly, for the price you get what its worth so I'm not mad...just being cheap. The fabric is thin and I wash it on gentle only, then line dry as I'm afraid of it falling apart. Its very pretty, but it's color is not as described. Its more creamy colored than taupe. It still fits my room, so I'll keep it for my summer bedding set. Again, you get what you pay for. If you don't want to spend much, dont expect much either.

I love this duvet set. It fits the king size down comforter I bought perfectly and the ties on the inside hold it in place. The cream color is beautiful and soft and exactly what i was looking for in my room. Speaking of soft, the fabric is super soft as well and super comfortable to lay on or under. I would recommend this set to any one looking for a soft and comfortable duvet cover.

Very soft and comfortable. Easy to use. Has ties for down comforter and buttons for enclosure. Used last night and was great. However I only give it 4 stars because the color is way darker than I expected or what the picture looks like. It is more of a true teal than the turquoise hue depicted in the pictures. I still like it and it looks nice with my black furniture but darker than expected.

Honestly, looks very cool and fabric was super soft. But the stitching was cheap and at least 2 of the lunch pleats were undone right in the middle. Returned for another brand. Would not recommend until they can fix quality control issues (check your products before you package them!)
