Recon (264285WH) Illuminated 'F-250' Emblem, Chrome

These lights stopped working after a very short time! The light colors started fading and bleeding together. Meaning orange mixes with red and white. They cost entirely too much for this to start happening. I emailed the company and got no response!

My wife was the one that wanted to install these on our truck .... so I "reluctantly" obliged and purchased a set. Of course I'm glad we did - yeah, you guys out there may scoff at me but these look bad a$@! They are a little bright so be aware that you may get to have a little chat with local law enforcement ... I wired the lights to one of my F250 toggle switches in the console so I can turn on and off when needed.Very easy to install - the hardest part was locating the toggle with wires, the wires through the firewall, and a way to weave the wiring from the lights into the engine compartment - but that's all part of the fun.Definitely look good on the truck and have had numerous questions as to where to get them, if they are standard equipment, and ease of install.

I wouldve rated higher because i did like the lighs... for the whole 6 months thwy worked. After 5 months the white burnt out, so i switched to yellow, then yellow burnt out a couple months later, so left me with only red and it is now also burnt out. Tried to contact recon for warranty... what do you know didnt even get a email back to any of the attempts made. Product costs way to much to burn out that fast. For 6 months of use id expect it to be at least half the price. I even offered to buy replacements at a discounted price instead of complete replacement and still couldnt get a response.
