Skechers Women's Woodsy Engineer Boot

I wanted to replace a similar pair of Skechers purchased years ago that just recently wore out. I'm a size 10 and I am on my feet often at work. It's a struggle to find shoes that fit comfortably and are a style that I like. I compared these to the Rager and Laramie 2 Engineer boots and definitely preferred these both for the style and fit. The Laramie 2 didn't have as much padding around the ankle as I would have liked and the toebox was a bit wider and more rounded than this Woodsy pair. They also had that fake wood layer on the heel that I don't care for. The Rager sat right in the middle on my ankle, not comfortable, and the laces extended further onto the toebox than I liked.These boots fit as expected and provide adequate arch support. I've worn them out and haven't had any issues with fit or discomfort. There is plenty of padding around the ankle which is nice, but I'm not sure how well the rubbery material will hold up over time with slipping the boots on and off my feet. Overall, I'm really happy with these boots. If they last a decent amount of time for what I put them through, I will definitely purchase them again.

These boots are extremely too large, even with my prosthetic lift that is 1 inch thick, that I have to wear in all my shoes, boots, sneakers, and I wore a thick pair of men small size boot socks. The boot was a extremely too large. I gave it 5 stars it would have been perfect for this East Cost cold, snowy, rainy weather. Parking is terrible on campus, the walk from the parking lot/garage to the lecture halls are at least minimum 1/4 mile to over 5 miles or more, you dare not move your vehicle you might find a spot further away.I have returned the boots, and ordering a different pair Sketchers boots. As for the comments that the boots run small, it must have been that been in that size, color. Every sketchers boots/shoes I have ever have order, were too large, even with my prosthetic lift that I put inside boots/shoes. Since I know I have to accommodate for the lost room in my left shoe/boots then I would go up a shoe size, or get a wider width so my shoes will not fit tight.

I really like the look and feel of these boots. Was looking for something to pull on for fall/winter with jeans and an oversized sweater. These fit the bill. I cannot wear most Timberland boots - they almost always give me blisters. And these looked some similar and at a third of the price, I couldn't resist.Water resistant. Nice padding around the lower calf. Run true to size. I am an 8 and I bought an 8.These will be my "go to" boots for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Thes boots are really nice. I got them in brown and they look just like the picture. They are soft and look nice for a womens work boot. They run smaller than I expected, I normally wear a size 7 but ordered a 7.5 so I could where thick socks, the 7.5 barely fit me so I can only wear regular socks when I wear them. I also have very narrow feet and they fit snug.I am 5'3" and weigh 100 pounds so I like that they don't make my feet look huge and bulky like they would wearing a mens size workboot.

The boots are nice but The boots run small I returned the boots I did not have the option of exchanging the boots from a seven and a half to a eight when I re-order the boots they were twenty dollars more I called customer service because this was ridiculous Customer Service said prices vary by size not true in this case the boots were twenty dollars more in the first size I ordered they offered to refund the difference Fine but who needs this headache I should have the option of a exchange for the same price Crazy

I originally bought these in 9.5, which ran a little small. I typically buy 9 or 9.5, but had to exchange these for a 10, which now fits with sock wiggle room. Nice looking boot and seems comfortable,though so far I've only walked around in the house to test them out.

Very comfortable boots! I got these in a size 9 which is my usual size and they fit great. I can wear them all day with no problems. I have not worn them in water or snow so I cant comment on the effectiveness of the waterproof, for the price I dont think you can go wrong with these boots. I got these to wear around the house when we are working on it ( roof, new shingles etc.)

Not as good as my Timberlands, but can't beat the price. I needed new work boots and these were on sale. They fit true to size and are very warm. Where I work, it is often 32 degrees, and they are awesome for the warmth. They also say the are waterproof.
