It's a great mobile modem, I'm currently using it in a 4G network, and it works perfectly. Setting it up is easy all you need is to insert your data SIM (full size) to start enjoying the connection to the internet.Watching videos and/or movies over the internet is amazing with no buffering issues. It supports many users at a time. The range covered at home is acceptable, i still can have good signal 8 mts away from the modem (without antena).I do recommend this item to everyone.Thanks,Pascoal Sambo

I am giving this product 0 stars , cause i tried my friend's one , and than i ordered it , only to get (today) the wrong item ! , which doesn't do LTE TDD but only LTE FDD , so it's a disaster for me , and i fully blame the seller TakudaDotCom , for advertising one model , and selling another .Seller advertises the HUAWEI B593s-82 LTE FDD/TDD , but ships the HUAWEI B593u-12 , LTE FDD only .Now i'm overseas , so i can't return this , i waited 4 months for it to get here , and i'vejust signed a 24 months LTE TDD contract , with a device set to the wrong frequency . . NICE !!I did ask seller b4 i ordered , and was provided with WRONG information !Will update when and if TakudaDotCom (Seller) fixes this problem ..Till than DON'T order if your Network's running FDD LTE .

This device does NOT work with the T-mobile 4G network. :(Thinking it was a signal strength problem I got a compatible external antenna, but no effect.It only ever connects on miserable old 2G

Functionally as expected, recognized sim card instantly. Good transmission. Simple installation. Good router Home Page with a lot of functions. The on and off button is a little loose (does not give the impression of being solid) that's the only dark side. Otherwise I could have given 5 stars. I think 4 are right.

For home and SOHO use - it's ok and quite simple to set up. Everyone who can use Excel should be able to do with the help of the manual. It supports external antennas (must be enabled in software) which is useful. On the downside it isn't suitable for heavy traffic and many users (office use) and doesn't support any advanced features besides port forwarding. No VPN. Web interface hangs under traffic. No IDS, IPS.

First, let me state that I am an I.T. guy (I hold 3 degrees and working on a doctorate on the subject). This device is NOT a plug and play device. You have to know your SIM pin code (usually 1234 or 0000). You do have to do some configuring; this is NOT a plug and play device (second time I've said it). You cannot simply insert your SIM card, plug it in, and expect it to work. This is how guys in my field (to include myself) make money. It requires some level of understanding networking and interfacing it with your devices. THIS THING IS THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!!!!! You just have to know what you are doing. I pick up only 2 bars of 4G LTE (without an attached antenna, inside of a concrete building, behind closed doors) and I am getting 10mbps. BUT IT IS EXTREMELY FAST!!!! It is faster than my home network (which is wired and at 18-20 mbps). I insert my SIM card, configure my SIM Card and then configure the device to receive 4G LTE. I have completely cut off my internet service provider (I had a 180.00 cable bundle; tv, phone, and internet). In today's modern world, all you need is an internet connection and you can do anything. Now I only pay 50.00 a month for UNLIMITED DATA!!! NO CONTRACT!!!! You can take this anywhere and connect up to 32 devices. The bad reviews are written about this product because people do no know what they are doing. THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT!!!!!

4G is a different world than 3G! The 4G signal is week in my area, but with the help of an external antenna this router picks it up. The internal antenna is pretty good, too, and it picks up 3G better than my B200 series Huawei. I got less than 2Mbps with my previous router. This router showed up to 20Mbps (when the signal is strong).It arrived without instructions, but the manual is available online and it's largely unnecessary. My unit also arrive with the wrong power plug for my country. But I am still super happy with my new speed. Shipping from China only took a few days via DHL.

Recognize the network but never connected. Tried 4 different networks in two different countries on two different continents. I am very disappointed about this router. The set up is pretty simple but the result is very bad. Do not waste you money.
