I got one of these indoor smart power strips after having a good experience with a meross outdoor timer.Compared to the outdoor smart timer, this power strip is also easy to set up via the meross app. It also connects to Google Assistant with individual controls for each outlet and USB port.Unfortunately, it does not support the sunrise/sunset timer settings as the outdoor timer does. I got this power strip with that purpose in mind and now I have to use fixed times instead. I'm not even sure why such a limitation exists when the same app controls both devices.With arbitrary limitations between the different devices, I all now more hesitant to buy meross products in the future.Edit: It looks like Meross did add a sunset/sunrise option in a firmware update. It still doesn't allow me to specify an offset based on sunset/sunrise like the outdoor timer but it's an improvement.

I bought this outlet strip to better control a habitat for my bearded dragon. I wanted to be able to have a thermostat that controls the heating element come on first and then two lights (heat and UVB) come on 45 minutes later, then turn off in the evening at the same time. I pulled this out of the box, plugged it in, and followed the instructions to have it on my WiFi network using the app within 4 minutes. I have the heater and lights plugged in and the timers configured within another 4 minutes. Where has this been all my life?!

I bought this to use in the garage with a heat lamp for the winter. We have a remote thermometer out there and when the temperature dips, we not longer have to go out side to warm it back up - a big plus during this brutal winter. It’s the first one Ive owned, so can’t compare it to others, but I think its a nifty gadget that could be used for a lot of different things.I’ve lowered my rating to three stars because it stopped working months ago and is now useless.

So far so good. We set the timer and it works great, apps works to turn on if the power was off. I went ahead and bought some individual outlets. Hope they wk just as this one does.

These strips are great, they cost just a few dollars more than normal strips, however with these you can control each plug and USB port, can also set up for voice commands thru Alexa and other apps. You can setup automation using schedules/routines, all for a one time purchase of a few dollars more than a standard strip, saves having so many plugs on the wall taken up with plugin modules!

I'm sure I'm not using this to it's full potential. But it works well and gives me wifi control on each outlet on the strip or all of them at once. Not too hard to pair up with the app. However, (not their fault, but something to keep in mind...) when my wifi suddenly stopped and reset, I have to repair the thing along with my other smart plug, etc.

every once in a while it locks up and the alexa device cant see it even though i can turn it on and off with the buttons
