The coat is like spun gold
When I saw that these were offered, I flipped! I simply had to have one, even though I have dozens of horse figures! If you haven't seen any pictures of this breed, go. Go right now and look it up on the Web! The coat is like spun gold; lustrous and beautiful! I could hardly believe how amazing they look! And even better, here's a toy of one! Now, I love CollectA and some of the other figure makers on equal terms mostly, but CollectA has gone a furlong farther in finding some hew and very interesting species! This would be the IDEAL gift for the horse-crazy little girl in your life, and just imagine how fabulous it would look on top of a cake iced with white or green; with a shimmery layer of pearly sparkly stuff sprayed on! (Yes, they do make edible sprays like that!) One could say this is how a unicorn looks when it hides among humans, because after all, such rare creatures seek out only very special little girls to be friends with! Very Nice Quality and Looks RealisticMy 18yr old Daughter Will LOVE!!!! this.. We are avid Model Horses collectors.. Mainly Breyer, but we do have some Safari ltd and Schleich. So while looking for some horses for her for Christmas on Amazon, I came across Collecta horse models.. Never heard of them, so being very skeptical of their quality w/o actually seeing them, I was very hesitant on order anything from them. Almost didnt.. Then I came across the Quagga.. my daughter Favorite of the Zebra species.. So I decided to go head and order the Quagga and 2 other horses from Colleca.. Akhal-Teke Mare in Perlino (1 of my daughters favorite horse color) and the Arabian Mare in Grey.. The 2 horse arrived 1st.. I was very impressed, as They turned out to be Very Well Made, a lot like the Safari ltd and Schleich., maybe even better. A couple days later the Quagga arrived, AGAIN Very Well Made... Also the Quagga is NOT!! from Collecta, but actually from MOJO Fun.. LOL..Very Happy that I ordered this little gal, and I know my daughter will absolute Love it.. (Cant wait for Christmas now.) This would make a great toy for any child and a really nice addition to any model horse collector..UPDATE 12-24: Decided to do x-mas a little early..Daughter did Love her Perlino Akhal-Teke Mare and Grey Arabian mare by Collecta and the little Quagga by Mojo Fun.. The Quagga and Akhal-Teka being her favorites. While they are made like Safari ltd and Schleich, We are very impressed with over all Quality of these horses. My Daughter did scrutinized them. Collecta ranks right up there with Breyer. They Would defiantly show very well in the Model Horse Shows, if your into that, and the little Quagga from Mojo Fun would do very well also.. Well worth it and will defiantly buy more of these horses.

colour.......
Ordered a number of different horse breeds from this collection and each one is beautiful with so much detail. The only problem I have with this model is the colour...they have tried to get the gold sheen of this breed but its ended up looking a bit fake
