Stylish and functional
Initially I had given this product a bad rating because it seemed impossible to attach, but I got it figured it out (pull the cover with the logo written on it off in the direction of the loop. It's snug on there, but it will come off). I wish that it had included some instructions. The quality is great on this product, as is the design. One thing I absolutely love is the smell - it's that's rich leather smell that exudes quality. I will definitely be looking to buy more products from Gariz in the future.

Attractive, yet not without some flaws.
This is an attractive strap, but there are some issues. The strap could be a tad bigger, as the grippy leather needs a bigger opening the slip on over nylon on something smoother. There is no loop, split ring, or whatnot. In theory the camera has one, but another would have been nice to have. Then there's the plastic bits it all depends on. Frankly, this is concerning. The leather slip on bit that covers the hardware up does a great job to protect the camera from running and clean it all up, but it makes it hard to install. Then there's the attractive but utterly useless packaging. Needed scissors to cut the tube open, as the grippy leather wouldn't slide out of the fancy cork topped tube. At least if it were glass I could use it for a crack pipe.

Nice strap but incomplete
Bought this strap for my XT1 as the neck strap seemed "cheap" for such a nice camera. The Gariz strap seems to be of a very high quality and should break in nicely. Unfortunately it doesn't include a ring clip to attach the strap to the camera and I had to salvage a clip from the neck strap to make it work. This is a shame as no one likes receiving a product they can't use.

Don’t buy
What a piece of junk! Snapped open and caused my camera to fall to the ground. Luckily, so far, the camera still works-as I put a lens filter on. This strap is defective and faulty and should NOT be used.

Works OK - Installation is difficult.
This is a solid camera strap. It fits over the wrist well and has no risk of slipping off, especially with the small tightening ring shown in the photo. I do wish it were a little thicker in diameter.Installation was very difficult, to say the least. I had to go online to see others' experiences and tips, and spent 30-40 minutes fiddling with it before I succeeded. I was on the verge of throwing in the towel and sending it back when I finally figured it out. Also, this strap uses the triangular clip that came with my camera - in some cases it has been shown to dig in and grind away at the lug and actually wear all the way through due to the way the triangle sits on the lug. This is a camera manufacturer's fault (Fuji), but with one lug bearing the weight of the camera rather than two, that grinding is more likely. A round connector or string into the lug would be less prone to this.I kind of wish I'd gotten a Gordy's wrist strap instead.

great product
Early impression - very nice product. Attaches securely and feels secure on wrist. Looks good on an Olympus PEN EP5. More convenient than the standard neck strap. The leather piece that is close to the strap lug can act as an extension to the right hand grip (if you want to position it that way) that provides more bulk for a comfortable hand position.

Great 2nd best compared to the similar Leica strap (which would have been $40)
I really wanted the Leica strap which appears to be slightly higher quality, however that one costs 3 or 4x this one so I went with this. If money was not an issue I'd buy the Leica strap (didn't find it on Amazon, but it is available from at least one of the major online camera stores). It is somewhat difficult to put on but I'm mechanically oriented so it didn't bother me. A mechanically challenged person will have trouble a) getting it out of the tubular packaging, and b) installing it on the camera.Very solid and very comfortable for the weight of my Fuji x100t.(Ken Rockwell uses the Leica strap and from the images I think I can see why it has a slight advantage over this one.)

Looks great. Excellent quality
Looks great. Excellent quality. Totally secure. Very stiff at first, needs time to wear in. I twisted and bent the strap, every now and then, until it became more pliable. It took quite some time, but now it's the most comfortable and cool looking camera strap I've had. It's also absolutely confidence inspiring.
