DELL Inspiron 15 7577 2018 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop (7th Gen Core i7-7700HQ/8GB/1TB/128 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/MSO/1050 Ti 4GB Graphics), Black

This is the best gaming laptop in this budget. I bought it in 72k from Great Indian Sale and using this laptop for like 3 weeks. The only issue with this laptop is battery life which lasts only upto 3hrs while surfing. But gaming on this laptop is just awesome. It’s able to run almost every game till now on Ultra settings

My Dell Inspirion Gaming 7577 stopped turning on at the end of May. There was no prior symptom and I had not made any modification recently to the hardware or software. The diagnosis was unsurprisingly that the power supply portion of the motherboard had malfunctioned. The device is out of warranty so I was willing to pay any reasonable repair cost. Here is what happened -1. May 20 - Laptop stops working.2. May 21 - Laptop sent to a local "Dell Service Centre".3. May 28 - "Service centre" returned the laptop saying it is unrepairable and spares are unavailable. Requested for confirmation of the same on mail was denied. Received the diagnosis of malfunctioning motherboard.4. May 29 - Contacted Dell customer service. Aside from the usual customer service shenanigans, the representative was helpful and diagnosed the same problem with the motherboard. He mailed a quote for replacement of motherboard for 13k, pre-paid with a 4-week turn over time and on-site service.5. June - The quote by Dell seemed high especially since it was pre-paid and the turnover time was high. So I sent the laptop to an independent repair shop I trusted where it remained for the month. Received the same diagnosis but unfortunately, the shop was unable to source another motherboard. No procedures were performed on the device.6. July 3 - Contacted the same Dell representative again for a refreshed quote. He gave me the same quote for 13k, CONFIRMED AVAILABILITY OF THE PART and assured me that if this problem occurs again my part cost would be refunded.7. July 8 - Had a few conversations with the representative over a few days. Representative sent details for the legit service centre in my city as I did not want unnecessary house visits during covid.8. July 18 - Sent my laptop to the service centre given by the Dell Customer Service. Received service job sheet confirming payment of Rs.999 as service cost.9. August 10 - Had been calling the service centre twice a week to know the status of the service. Was always given some excuse like "Dell is not responding to the request", etc. After almost a month, sent a peon to the service centre, they told him that the service procedure had not begun due to lack of payment even though we had the job sheet confirming that payment had been made. Sorted this issue and repair began.10. August 20 - Service centre contacted us and refused to repair citing unavailability of parts even though DELL HAD CONFIRMED THE AVAILABILITY BEFOREHAND.Now, I am without my primary work device for 3 months. The new semester is completely online and I have various commitments for which I need my laptop. What can I do aside from pursuing the matter further in court?

My product is good for the moment, runs without a hitch and with the fingerprint scanner it's more easier to login as well. Battery life is top notch. The cooling fans definitely don't work amazingly as compared to most gaming pcs and there are difficulties to run higher spec games like OW or R6S on this pc as it tends to heat up and slow down the pc as well. I will update my review once I've installed another 8 gb ram into my laptop and see it's efficiency on the laptop. If you're looking for a pc though, this would be a good option

I am writing this review after 5 years..i know currently this model laptop is not available in market.. but let me tell you one thing.. even with current budget slim gaming laptops... this laptop will not back down in performance.. even in design comparison it is much better in my personal opinion..

battery is superbi will give u acer predator i5 8gen @67 with bill and warrantyi will give any gaming series laptop @10-25k less than online market.contact [email protected]

The battery got dead in less then an year. The laptop stopped booting in just 2 years

The best part about dell 7577 is its thermals and performance, this system can easily crack any aaa titles with high graphics and its a mind blowing deal at 75K
