Easily your best value for a 26 inch tire: fast rolling, long lasting, great traction, and BIG!
There is no tire like this at this price. The tread design is fast rolling on pavement, with large, flat arrow shaped knobs. It's four miles to the trailhead here, so that's awesome! And when finally on the dirt it yet has tenacious grip in hard cornering and steep climbs. The sidewall has some extra rubber and protective pattern. It wouldn't take much to turn this into a tubeless tire - a smooth tacky rubber on the bead, a little more on the sidewall to seal, and I hope Panaracer considers this! With all the hype for plus sizes - you might find that this 2.4 tire on your 26er is all you need, as I have. (Most forks accommodate but 26er frames max out at 2.2 or so rear - except my Mongoose Rockadile handles the big one in back too!) If it's not a race, weight is no matter, sure footing and durability are far more important, and the Swoop AllTrail delivers! Like virtually all tires rated 60x559 - the one you get will likely measure a bit smaller. But I lucked out on the first I purchased and it was at 60mm without stretching! The only one out of a half dozen different brands in fact! In the photo, the background is the 60mm Swoop, the foreground Swoop slightly smaller at 58mm. Woo Hoo!!! Time to Ride! Thank you Panaracer!

Best all around tire for a 26er
These work really well in just about everything with about 15lbs or so..Mud, hard pack snow, hard pack dirt, loose dirt, rocks, gravel etc.Not great on wet roots though or soft powdery snow., Way better then the WTB Vigilante 2.35 on my other bikeSidewall is also more stiff due to the texture? Doesn't flat like my wtbs either!Sheds Mudd better.I hear they work as a tubeless took so may be going that route soon

Best tread pattern for a 26 inch mountain bike tire hands down!
Have been riding this tire for 3 months now and love them! I mounted the front in the direction specified, but mounted the rear backwards for better traction. It really digs in and grips on my up hill climbs this way. There is a slight reduction in braking this way, but the majoity of your braking force comes from the front tire so this was a small trade off for the huge increase in traction when climbing. Was concerned that this tire might be a knock off as the Panaracer web-site doesn't show the size that I bought (26 x 2.25) as one of their offerings. The packaging sure looked legit and the tires looked like the real thing so still not sure what to make of the fact that the size isn't listed on the Panaracer site. Guess only time will tell if they will hold up to the test of hard use.It took some time to trust how hard I can push this tire into a corner, but now I'm letting it rip and am amazed at how well they hold. And did I mention how good the traction is when climbing!?! If I wasn't planning on switching over to a 27.5 bike I'd buy another set to keep for the future. Now I need to see if they make this tread pattern in a 27.5!

Why is the tire so misshaped?
I'm not sure what to think of these tires. When I mounted the tire to my 26 inch front wheel, the tire was kind of wobbly in shape but the inner tube was fine. I don't know if it was just wrapped in zip ties for too long and it permanently affected the shape of the rubber, or if it will eventually straighten itself out. However when I took my bike out on the trail the bike performed wonderfully. Way better then the previous tire that I had on there. I'm now running this 2.25 in the front and my old 2.1 in the rear (smoke) and the bike is just awesome now. But again, kinda concerned about the warped rubber shape.

Great tires at half the price of competitors.
I bought in the 2.4 to use as a front tire. It corners well and is confidence inspiring. I have ridden it in a variety of conditions and it is a great all around tire.I measured it with my digital calipers and the tread is exactly 2.4 inches. Panaracer claims the weight is 730 grams but actual weight is 840 grams. I should knock a star off for this but I didn't expect them to weigh 730 grams. These are a great buy at $35 and they are definitely worth every dollar and then some.

Great tires and a very reasonable price
These are great tires. They are half the cost of Maxxis tires yet have great tread. I put a lot of miles on my last Panaracer tires and this new set looks fantastic as well.

Fast with great grip!
Mounted these (26x2.25in.) front and back on my hardtail XC bike hoping for a bit more grip on hard pack, sand and gravel. I’m really pleased so far. Volume and contact patch are spot-on for the size, and casing seems thick and sturdy for the weight. Traction has been excellent in all conditions—these are confidence-inspiring. Having switched from a racing tire these do have more rolling resistance but move surprisingly fast for the size. Great tires!

pnumatic suspension.
i ride dual rigid and wanted something on the front end to suck up the bumps.wide and light was the order and this is the magic tire right here.i put this tire through more abuse than i should and it just keeps holding steady.

Buen precio/calidad
