Works great, but not Crucial
Ok so I ordered this and received it in like 3 days, so that was awesome. I also got this upgrade for $25 which was also awesome... Taking my mini 10 apart was a bit difficult, but getting it back together was easier, I only lost one screw, but found it later on. The part of this buy that I am not pleased about is that they advertise this memory as Crucial brand memory, but it is not. I would have probably still bought it even if it wasn't Crucial, but it's the principle. I'm sure this memory performs the exact same, but if you're going to sell this don't display a picture that says "crucial" on it. I like to know what I'm buying. Either way this shipped super fast like usual and works fine. But I must say if you're putting this in a mIni 10 good luck...

Yep, it's a big name brand
Because the act of exposing the memory stick in a mini 10v is a project that will burn a decent chunk of anyone's evening; I decided to go ahead and order the sole memory upgrade on Amazon that I could find that actually said "Dell Inspiron Mini 10v".This performed exactly like the hundreds of other memory sticks I've bought from Crucial, snapped in clean, fired right up, worked like the machine came that way.If you're really planning on upgrading the memory in a Mini 10v, I'd say don't clown around, spend the extra 3-5$ and get something you know will work. I actually watched a video of the teardown on one of these machines that was time-lapsed down to 9 minutes. After over a decade of building customs and repairing laptops, it took me 30 minutes to tear mine down to the point where I could physically remove the memory stick from the machine. The whole upgrade took 45 minutes, considerably longer than I've ever taken to upgrade memory on any system (even my old Pentium-D that had cooling manifolds on the memory as well).

great update
This doubled the ram in my wife's laptop, and I am sure glad that my son who has a bs in computer engineering was able to install for me, he did it while we were driving down the road but mentioned that he would have waited to be at a table had he known the amount of dis-assembly required to swap out the ram in the dell laptop, it was not the same as shown on crucial website (no small door on back that is removed with 4 screws)

Worked perfectly.
I used this memory to upgrade my Dell Mini 10. This memory saved the Dell from being junked for being too slow on Windows XP. Best $20 I have spent this year.

Great memory at a great price
There isn't much to say about memory, it either works or it doesn't. I have purchased Crucial memory for years and never had one fail. It is nice to be able to purchase their memory on Amazon -where I buy everything else.Upgraded my Dell Mini 10v (hackintosh) without any problems which gave Snow Leopard a performance boost. :)

Worked great
Received the memory and was able to install it in my dell net book with no issues. Had it for about 6 months now with no issues.

dell still slow
must be all the government backdoor spy software watching my every move. maybe it's all the tin foil I put up around my house. Made a difference but not a super huge difference. I guess it's cheaper than buying a new netbook.

Off-brand; DOA
I was a little disheartened when I opened the box I received today to see an off-brand (Hynix) module in there. It wasn't enough to disappoint me, though. I spent an hour tearing my 10v down and building it back up again only to have the machine survive for less than 10 seconds even in the BIOS. Repeated the process, placing the stock stick back in. No issues. I went with this product solely off the positive reviews. Guess I should've noticed they were all from at least a year ago.
