Fabuloso

like Silva, Suunto or Moscompass
Very interesting compass. When you hold it in your hand, sometimes it feels that certain parts of it are rough, but when you inspect it closely, you realize the fact it's made accurate and precise enough, as any other compass of the same price range, like Silva, Suunto or Moscompass. The only parts I would criticize are its markings and scales - they are not inscribed, but simply printed on the compass body and additional scale cards included in the package; the degree designations on the bezel are printed with lower resolution than expected, but are definitely readable. In my opinion, this is not a problem if you use it accurately, e.g. if you avoid placing and rubbing it on heavily muddy map and so on. The tool-less declination adjustment works fine - just the way I expected: it's a bit difficult, so that it would not change itself when you keep the compass in your pocket or take hundreds of azimuth measurements. The clinometer is a bit "lazy", but it works fine too. The mirror may look small, but surprisingly shows whole compass capsule and nothing else. Precisely. Finally, the compass capsule is protected very well by corrugated plastic plate on the top and rubber detachable plate on the bottom, so it wold not break if you drop it on the rock and occasionally step over(the "feature" many compasses lack). The compass itself is HUGE, but lightweight and very comfortable. Overall, it's a very good compass definitely worth its price, precise and reliable. And you know, it makes impression like your old good pocket knife, or kind of other stuff you keep with you all the time for years, just for yourself. But this is just my personal opinion based on very first impression.

The needle points north. Very cheap and plasticky build. Definitely not worth the 5900 rs tag! Do yourself a favor, don't buy it.

not easy to use
the north (red) needle dips down like it is a southern hem. compass. The needle does not spin freely.
