So far so good...just a bit heavier than I thought.
The bike came folded in the box with just a few parts to assemble. Just a warning, all the directions were in Japanese so I needed to figure out how to assemble, fold and unfold the bike myself. Looks to be great quality to my untrained eye. The lock cord is a bit thin, but will help prevent the seat from getting stolen if used in combination with a u-lock since it would easily be taken off otherwise. It came with an LED light (no batteries), a bell, a basket, and rear reflectors. The bike has clear plastic coverings over the gears which I think will help keep them in place and keep them from getting wet. I also feel like the bike moves a bit slowly, likely because of the smaller wheel size. You can turn the gears easily to adjust it, but higher gears are a lot of work for me since I'm not in the best shape for riding. I also wish the handlebars were adjustable, but they aren't which is hard to tell from the picture.Overall, it's what I expected and I'm very happy with the purchase. When folded it fits in my car trunk so I don't have to haul it up 3 floors to my apartment or worry about locking it out on the street overnight.

Not really the bicycle you think
This is actually from a company called Daikyo Development Company. They're designed in Japan and made in China. This same bicycle can be had in different colors and costs less if you look around. They go by different brand names but its really the same bicycle. You'd be better off buying this bike directly from someone who sells via China and escape the double import tax through Japan. Quality control is iffy. You may end up with one with a bent part or weak metal. If you're really going to spend almost 500 dollars for a bicycle, get a base model Dahon for 7 pounds less.Pros:StrongCheapLooks goodConversation starterConsNot very rugged, don't expect it to lastPaying extra for japanese import36.8 pounds (16.7 Kg)
